Sometimes it is difficult to determine if you are dealing with a sociopath or narcissist because the behaviors and mindsets that they show can certainly overlap.
Narcissism isn't easy to spot and in some countries, the definition of a narcissism and the tools to understand them, are different.
In this interview, Marvin asks questions about relationships that involve both sociopathy and narcissism.
***Please keep in mind while watching this interview that this is a different country (Africa) and their beliefs are different than in the U.S. That means that many concepts discussed here may not be what we KNOW to be true in the U.S.
Check out Marvin's channel here: / @self-madepodcast
AND
his Instagram: therealself...
In this interview, you get a different country's perspective on narcissism and sociopathy. See below for research that supports the topics discussed in this interview.

God has a hand on you. It’s sad color has to be a problem to someone. I’ve never understood this. I grew up in the ‘50’s & ‘60’s. I remember the way brown people were treated. It really hurt my heart, even as a 4 n 5 yr old, you see it & you hurt for them. I feel the Lord gave me a heart for people of color. If you are a different color, no matter your ethnicity, you don’t fit into what some call the norm. I feel this stems from how the parents set the example. Put 25 3 yr olds in a room to play & they have fun & get along well. Color isn’t a problem. It’s how you raise your children. It has to stop !! It’s wrong !!! No one is better than another. You look at a person’s heart, not color, material things . My youngest Daughter is a narcissistic sociopath. I had to walk away from her. Their Dad is a Psychopath, as he has no empathy. He is very cold, doesn’t care he has hurt you. He has used them to hurt me. He told me he was going to do this.

I was asked by Marvin Ariemu, who is of African decent, if I could discuss #narcissism and #sociopathy. I only answered the questions I was asked in respect for his interview style and show. Some people have mistaken his questioning and my answers as "feminism." That is far from the truth. I, in no way, want this interview to offend ANYONE on this channel. I am reposting this to give you guys a different CULTURAL view. His country looks at things vastly different from ours so this is what you are seeing in this interview. *Please share any thoughts or questions you may have.

Tamara/ Mr Marvin … Thank You for this open dialogue, I absolutely agree each person receives trauma and reality differently. I am an Identical twin 53 years old, the both of us grew up in the same household experiencing and seeing the same dysfunction’s within the family unit and now as adults those experiences we both had has a very different effect on us as adults.

This is such an interesting conversation! My back went up in the beginning but when you explain the way men and womens brains work it all makes more sense to me. I also agree when he says the numbers for narcissistics are off. Being a women I have experienced more abuse from women, and i have PTSD from my Dad. I worked in a toxic spa and now Im in a toxic job mosttly with women and really never have issues with the men there.

This reminded me & took me back to a moment in time of when my husband said to me that he envied me because of my blind faith & love that I have for God. 🥺 There is definitely a battle going on between good & evil. However, the good & God Almighty will ALWAYS come out on top! This I do know to be a fact. This was an amazing talk! God bless you both! 🙏❤️‍🔥🙌

@@TherapistTamaraHill I listened. At the end I realized Marvin too had to go through the nonsense. I need more context to understand. Last month I walked into a conversation. 2 guys sensationalizing how they were treated as children. The Asian gentleman added that his mother stabbed him. I asked why she stabbed him. Turned out he cursed his mother (b-word). I asked why did he call his mother the (b-word). In the end, these two gentlemen didn't realize that both their mothers were abusive. They both took ownership of their mothers abusive actions. The other guy was a black man. I was triggered by their blind spot. They did not see that they were abused ss children. Sad!

A strong psychological mindset and emotional resilience will develop your sense of knowing who you are and knowing certain behaviours are manipulative and unacceptable. You are a unique person and its absolutely acceptable to NOT SETTLE. Have faith in your own goals, yourself worth and that you are making decisions for " your life" not what everyone else is wanting. Stay true to you and believe in "yourself".😊

You are affirming to me that He has me in a very lonely and quiet time to prepare for His calling as He knows my previous journey has equipped me for a community based recovery for women coming in together in small groups . U tube message to fill you up and to press on in your divine calling . Nona Jones -The Gift of Rejection I month ago and 544 k views . She’s wearing a blue shirt and green skirt . She is a writer as well. This information is at a critical and urgent crisis time in mankind . I was married 40 yrs 2014 , the month of our 40th anniversary and I did not know of the word narcissistic until I was hospitalized for a burnout for the 3rd time and the Christian psychiatrist met the X and identified him in 2013 but it did not become part of DSM until 2014 . I was then hospitalized winter of 2022 with chronic insomnia and met my psychiatrist again who said why haven’t you got a divorce yet …. Well it appears a conspiracy going on with my 2 sons in medical arena , married to nurses and we now know he’s been buying his flying monkeys or generational sin as well. He has a daughter 42 with delayed development but very high functioning. He left her to take care of me with 3 compound back fractures after horse back riding accident. This was the very time he chose to discard me . But it’s taken 10 lawyers to find one to take on this horrific mess. During this time also caring for my mother and moving her 3 times and her passing in 2020. Which he said not a word . So one gets to see what they are capable of and thankful for the gift of discernment and spiritual warfare . Two doctors have told me it’s a miracle my daughter and I are still alive . So I too have a huge passion and calling and it will be incorporated into a community project . It’s going to have to move in this way for many don’t have the education or knowledge or most needed faith to face this Goliath with the Lord . I have your mailing address and I’m working on some mail . I am from Indiana , grew up on a dairy farm 1/2 way between Indy and Kentucky .until my parents moved us to Canada in British Columbia in 1969 . I will share this project and other recommendations of authors and recovery coaches and information about this mental health topic . In His Grip , Peggy

Still guessing about being emotional. I am very emotional, but I spend a lot of energy on managing my emotions, I see it as the right thing to do for myself or maybe this is a result of some trauma. Not sure that at the end of processing I express a lot of emotions. Some people would just release their emotions, and maybe it even helps them to save their minds health? From another perspective, I feel more compassion towards an emotionally aroused person. But not all people have a clear conscience and I can mistake an emotional abuser for the victim. And there are people who would not even doubt their decision. I dislike the discussion about some genders are being more emotional and some - more logical thinkers. From tinges it turns into a black-and-white thing and then you are denied the right to be a victim and expected to be numb to whatever emotional abuse others can inflict on you . The next moment a sociopath is born *liked some parts, but disliked the part about genders.

You don't have to tell them anything make sure that that is medical medicaid is up to date period! Start to do your due diligence to find a place where you could put him for special needs and that will continue to train him. You can talk to your family about putting in some program doing the day to train him. This would be much easier, but don't ever tell them that you don't want to care for him make arrangements now.

I enjoyed this video. Even although i feel i dont understand reasons why non believers are automatically portrayed as being like worse people than what believers are rated as being. Im well aware that this type of portrayal won't have been purposely intentional. Its more that it long been accepted as being traditional, pretty much globally. Our world has certainly been geared towards theory that a God would definitely exist. Without much essence of skepticism. But i sometimes wonder what if this theory could be wrong. Where will that leave us human then, when so much surety has been already built up around theory of God existing "for absolute certainty", to 100% sense of surety. What if by slight chance this theory might be incorrect. You know?. What then. Where will that leave the whole of humanity, in the long-term sense of matters, when so much surety has already been heaped up upon theories related to human hope for God to be able to act to intervene? . Im not offended by the portrayal of atheist as being like lessor type beings. As its absolutely also long been very traditional, and commonplace occurrence too. However, i cant help but wonder how believers might feel, themselves, would they'd be found to be wrong. Like, if they'd be able to have some way to die knowing that there's actually no God in the sense of the kind of God what's able to step in to take action to prevent disaster here on earth. I'm agnostic. I maintain a degree of skepticism. And yet a vast majority of human on earth would be likely to see me as being "not as good" or "not as helpful to others" as what believers see themselves as being . I don't take offense to it at all anymore. I feel i have no "good" reason to. But i simply fail to understand the reasoning for such reactions is all.

No big difference. Cluster b individuals share the same traits on a spectrum. All sociopaths/psychopaths are narcissists. Not only is overt narcissism easy to spot but your intuition would be alerting you. Women/mothers can be and often are the worst covert abusers with their schemes and smear campaigns etc. Some people just catch on to the act, the charm, the playing the victim, the pattern, the deception and manipulation from the narcissists, faster than others. There’s no such thing as trans. There’s body and gender dysmorphia and dysphoria and there’s autogynephilia and delusional thinking and perverts and predators. 81% of those requesting SRS have an average of 3 personality disorders. 57% of which is narcissism then others, mainly of the b cluster category. More than half the moms of boys with gender dysphoria have their own psychological issues, many moms with BPD NPD and FDIA.
