Hi Támara, thank you for your knowledge. ❤ I have a little to much 'narcs+' surrounding me; one by one they revealed themselves when my life fell apart. They're all covert, very skilled in their awefull manipulative behaviour, but so different. I would like to know more about covert sociopaths and covert malignant narcs (longterm partner, female friends and *boss) and want to ask you if you might would consider to make a video on that? It would be very helpfull. Totally understandeble if not; I know it's a whole lot to ask (sorry! 😬). Of course I'm super gratefull for what you have given already. 🙏🏼 * edit: former boss

Oh, and does anyone know if a sociopath can look like borderline sometimes?

Off the top of my head, I'll say the sociopath's tendencies are more egocentric; and the psychopath tends to be more egomaniacal. But I really don't think that I can just spot any differences between a sociopath and a psychopath. I still feel that I was forged by a family full of dark triad personality types. So if I had to distinguish between the two, I think that the sociopath would be the snake type who is sneaky and vindictive and lies a lot and emotionally manipulates other people; and the psychopath will be the ambush predator who never shows any fear or concern or remorse for other people in need. Although today it seems like bad is good at being cool, the bad conduct behaviors with an added sense of entitlement and blatant disregard for the wellbeing of others or personal boundaries or any other specific objectives are all red flag warnings, in my opinion, to not play around with or get enmeshed with these kinds of people. I believe that any kind of dark triad personality types will give their best efforts to objectify you and subject you to their own whimsicals. And if you were to catch on to their ploys, they will play dumb or pretend to be just joking. Ultimately, they all will show their disapproval and disgust with things that they can't control or understand (even God's Goodwill). In other words, they glorify the negativity; and they are egotistical. They will make you their fool; but it's the sociopath who will laugh the loudest at other people's mishaps, handicaps, and hardships. But I thought that the typical psychopaths were the unfortunate low functioning ones who were born with such distinct cognitive disabilities that they all were always under the full supervision of some kind of caretaker; and they always end up in some kind of mental health care institution. And I think of Ted Bundy as being more of a high functioning pyschopath with a sex addiction.

I almost got kidnapped when I was a young woman. I was coming home from a night out and was in a cab. I remember as I was driving down the street I saw a man walking and I felt a strange feeling. When I got out of the cab, this same man just popped out next to me asking me for parking directions. Naievely, I was looking and noticed his truck was running, door open). Thank God the cab driver never left the whole time, at one point he said "Why is this cab driver still f++ckin here" at that point something in me bolted to the door and I ran in (I was staying at a friend's house) He drove off so fast. I was shaking like crazy and feared for my life. Thank God he never came around again. Just to say an angel was at my side that night. Never ignore that creepy feeling you have about someone. It's trying to save your life.

I watch a lot of crime shows on serial killers and they would label them psychopaths, but it appeared they all had traumatic childhoods. I think environment/upbringing has a lot to do with both.
@Human_01
@Human_01 3 жыл бұрын
Not really. Empathetic people also experience traumatic childhood, but they don't turn out as inhuman as narcissits/psychopaths. Environment is surely a factor, but so is the individual factor and their genetics. The later two-in fact, genetics is also an aspect of the environment; genetics are out of our control before birth (and even after). Genetics are an environmental factor that is mainly centered on the parents physiology/biology. At any rate, genetics are an aspect of nature and is as susceptible to change/mutation as any form of wildlife. When narc's experience something traumatic from a young age, their faulty (psychopathic) genes is triggered. The box (their brain) was already broken right from the start. Think of it as 'glass'. You cannot go over 70+ years (general life span of humans) without experiencing misfortune (most of which is caused by said creatures in the first place to other human beings, mind you). Empaths, who have a more complete and stable mind, are far less prone to becoming monsters due to horrible childhoods. It would take a lot more than that for such to occur.

These creatures are MAD-and are experts at taking advantage of people's sympathy! This is usually what gives them control. Rid yourself of empathy and morals when dealing with narcissits-and you will find them a lot easier to utterly destroy! Never encourage helpless and passivity in empaths; for that only makes them easy prey for these predatory, evil creatures (narcissits; demon's in human clothing).

Everything is genes/environment. Psychopathy is considered mostly genetic. Sociopathy is probably a pretty even mix of genes and upbringing. Something like 25% of kids diagnosed with ADHD will go on to be diagnosed with conduct disorder and then Sociopathy once they reach adulthood. Born impulsive + raised in a home that doesn't instill morals and good behaviour = disaster

I have a question. Do people with BPD tend to be sociopathic? My bpd roommate is actually insane (sorry I know that’s offensive language), but she is so manipulative and is never sorry. It’s as if she has NO emotion in her.

Can you please talk about the fear of being murdered ! I was scapegoated as a child by my parents! My dad would there’s to kill me and chop me up into little parts and put me in a bin bag a get rid of me in the woods. I believed him and felt pending doom all my life. He was also physically abusive. Now I isolate and I am deeply afraid of ppl and being killed! I think about it all the time. It’s like ever since I was a little girl I get lucky to be alive and felt that something bad was coming. I never thought that I would live past 13 and now I’m 23. Please help I don’t know what’s going on In my mind. A lot of my family have 0 empathy and get off from my pain and suffering

Therapy and 0 contact with your family.If they’re enjoying your pain then they’re sadistic. Narcissism maybe? Maybe some lean toward Sociopathy? If they run in a pack with a leader or two ? They’re probably narcissists (they usually act like cults).
