My fav species this far. Just got my communal (25) going about 3-4 weeks ago. Have them in a medium TC slider with a bunch of spider wood. Love watching them web it up and share prekilled meal worms or red runners. Love watching them come out of their shared burrow every night. Their communication between each other w their legs is simply fascinating. Cannot wait to watch them grow. And love Richard’s production work, as always!

Looks great and I Love watching them web it up and share prekilled meal worms or red runners. Love watching them come out of their shared burrow every night. I love the coloring on this species. The naming is perfect for it cause baboons have same pattern.

A community of these is a dream for my husband! Hopefully we’ll be able to do that one day. Right now,we have a GBB that just had it first molt with us last week,and a pinktoe. I can’t wait to be able to get more tarantulas! (Coming from someone that was TERRIFIED of spiders six months ago! 😂)
