It is surprising that you have delved in to this topic that confuses the listener to no end. What each one has done is to exploit the spiritual Buddhism to advance their own nefarious ends, giving it various names of adaptation. Ayodhya Dasar, Periyar and Ambedkar strove to achieve the advancement of their clan in political and economic fields by cleverly twisting the facts and events of various schools of thought and they can not be dealt with on the same platform that Buddha stood and preached. The latter is an iconic philosopher who strived to save the mankind, by a different form of spirituality,while all the rest were to weave a fabric suiting their own sectarian interests. If Ayodhya Dasar preferred to seclude himself from his less fortunate brethren, how can he ever talk about equality. Same goes with EVR who questioned the wearing of jackets by paryya women ! In the final reckoning clubbing these earthly political castiest persons with Buddha In an academic discourse would spell intellectual disaster. Any lapse in time can not elevate their thoughts to any level of societal advancement as can be seen in the present day rape, loot and murder propagated by the same forces who wish to retain their hold on power by setting a false narrative.

Liberation theology in Christianity was not developed during the time of Dr. Ambedkar. Ambedkar somehow failed to see the historic Jesus and interpreted only the divinity of Jesus Christ. Another aspect Dr. Ambedkar did not focus his attention is that of Atheism.

What is Hinduism? +++++++++++++++++ I have long pondered on what constitutes this so called religion that sweepingly generalises the 'Indian' people and sitting on their head (as cultural hegemony) and have come up with some conclusions .... A group of priest from the Zoroastrian religion (known as Aryans same as Iran) came to northern 'India' with their Avestan language and fire rituals and later created some slogans to form the Oral Vedas (old Sanskrit) which was never in written form (modern Sanskrit in Brahmi script) until after the 5th century AD. These priest learnt the principles of the Samana tradition( the mother of Jainism and Buddhism) that originated in the Indus Valley Civilization (admixture of Sumerian agriculturist and hunter gatherers) and thrived all over the sub continent with Tamizh especially in Southern 3 Kingdoms ( tiri- three Vi-Kings Idam-place Dravidam) and started incorporating(stealing)it into their already existent vaiteegam (senseless fire ritual) and produced the Upanishad (later the 3 levels of the Bhagavad-Gita and War Epics were hijacked) and became vegetarians. For a solid philosophical footing which they needed in a highly philosophized Tamizh (Samana Palli language just as Prakrit is Jain and Pali is Buddhist) infused land (Sanatan Dharma meaning just People's Religiosity) about the 8th century scribes like Adi Sankara came up with Advaita logic that distorted the original Buddhist(Sunya-Void) thoughts and produced a dichotomical nonsense which did not last the test of time. Later they took up the Tantric Samana Tamizh tradition (where Yoga and the Martial Arts came from) about the 10th century and put forth the bakti methodology (blind surrender). This was inspired by the Christian tradition also. Bakti was based on subtle erotism and appealed to the masses(like cinemas). The high Samana Tantra philosophical (Aaseevagam) basis was ruined for the newly conjectured Saiva and Vainava cult of the wretched puranic tales (porn stories). This is the history of the Priestly class(Brahmins) that still retain their priesthood in the agamic temples (lifeless stone worship) that held sway through the bakti movement from the 12th century onwards. The consecutive non-Tamizh rulers (Brahmin admixtured race such as Vaduga Telugus) firmly rooted the new found 'Hindu' religion with its caste (karmic birth) institution (twisted from the Samana four occupational make-up of society aka Farmers, Merchants, Rulers, Philosophers) with the insidious brahmin malicious agenda of Non-Dharmic segregation (untouchability) which the colonial British gave the general name by which sealing the new found religion hence the Brahmanic hegemony as Hindooism....
