This is amazing, it seems like Edward will be "recruiting" more engines from what we saw him do to Henry. From his reaction to the acid rain, i'd say he's being controlled by whatever force caused the acid rain in the first place and it seemly wants him to protect Callan for some reason based on what we saw in episode 2.
