SOE (Special Operations Equipment) is a US maker of very high quality tactical gear for the military, law enforcement and civilian market. Their EDC belt is a very popular, Cobra buckle style belt designed to fit through the belt loop of most pants. Whether you need a tactical belt, a concealed carry gun belt or just a solid every day belt this is a great piece of gear.

I ran into these guys at Blade show in Atlanta last year, and although I wasn't looking for a belt, I bought one of these for $65 because it is an awesome belt. The design and hardware are top shelf. It is probably the nicest heavy duty gear belt I've ever owned. Well worth the $65 I paid for it.

I own an SOE EDC belt and it's been the beat belt I've ever owned. I used to blow through leather belts all the time. Mine is over 2 years and still solid as nails. Priced very fairly for the quality, and ship times are relatively quick. You won't regret it.

I've been wearing one of those for years and I absolutely love it. The best riggers belt on the market in my opinion. Above that, I run their other gear and it s top notch. None of their products have failed for me. On these belts specifically, they have a video on their channel of them basically towing a truck with these belts. Excellent Video Bryan.

I own several SOE belts and have for years. They are simply the best on the market. I've had some for nearly 3 years, they show little wear and still have the same rigidity as the day I received them. I also own lots of other items from SOE, and all of them have held up.

What went though my mind was your pants loops giving. I use to moonlight as part time recuse and see so many people with rigger belts say oh just put the carbine on my belt it's blah blah etc. And so hard to get though there head that belt can pull a truck but you normally your belt loops can't hold even half that weight. lol Great vid by the way.

Do you have any trouble with this belt getting through your belt loops? I wear KUHL pants and typical jeans and just getting the belt to fit thru the loops was nearly impossible with a Browncoat Tactical in 1.5" so I'd like to get a belt that fits through most pants. Thanks,

you did right. i was already seeing other reviews of SOE belts for my son on YT. i had already run across videos on YT directly from john willis himself where he very disrespectfully called customers the worst names you can call them and that was before watching your review on your channel here now. on YT i have known you to be what i call a good man... very courteous even when others weren't courteous to you and you always are respectful. you did right... you did tell of the language used concerning this product. our son is a boy scout. my husband and his father were boy scouts. my father was a boy scout. you too are associated with the boy scouts. my family doesn't buy products no matter how well made from anybody or any company with the foul mouthed disrespectful policies of john willis & SOE (period). you did tell of it a slight tid bit little, but because the year is 2017 nothing's changed. willis & SOE are NOT ACCEPTABLE. knowing forehand as you did maybe you might consider not reviewing products by unacceptable vendors. a lot of boy scouts and boy scout families watch your channel. here many boy scout families watch your channel and you are often spoken about at gatherings. your videos / reviews are often spoken about at boy scout gatherings locally. if it were me brian, i would strongly personally commit to NOT reviewing products from people like this. this policy i'm speaking of is part of what maintains a higher standard. this is part of the standards of the boy scouts of america.

So you're going to deny your son the best you could get him because the guy who made it swears... you realise how ridiculous that is right?

Martina Dejaquiz, your son will use those exact same words that offend you so much. George Carlin once said that there are no bad words, only bad intentions. That’s a statement that I truly believe. As far as John’s treatment of “customers”...that’s where you’re wrong. John is an incredibly nice guy. The “customers” that you’re referring to are people that disrespected John and/or his company/employees. What you missed in every one of those cases is the conversations where those “customers” made the initial contact and decided to be rude, demanding and incredibly disrespectful. They were fired as customers and John publicly called them out. While it may seem harsh to some, it is never unprovoked. John and SOE will do what they can to help their true customers. As long as you are respectful, you’ll get treated in kind. There isn’t another company that does what SOE does. They’re passionate about what they do. The quality speaks for itself. I’ve never had any issues with John or SOE and even had emails answered, by John personally, at almost midnight. You won’t find his level of customer service anywhere else.

My son has several SOE products. He’s only a few weeks old. It’s a shame to see you do not let your son wear a belt with a label with language you don’t agree with. I’m sure he uses worse language with his friends

Shipping and lead times are clearly stated on the website. Why would you have to send a email for such information?...

The web site is very clear about lead time. John answers e mail almost immediately. How many other multi-million dollar companies have their CEO answer emails?

I’d bet money that Dickies doesn’t make a belt that comes anywhere close to an SOE belt. Dickies are cheap. SOE is bombproof.

I've had several belts from several manufacturers over the years and they ALL eventually started coming apart. That all stopped with my SOE belts and I stopped looking elsewhere. And as far as everyone attacking the owner John Willis's character, your worse than a girl gossiping in high school. Grow up, get your facts straight and stop being a snowflake. John and his family are good people.

It’s not overpriced when one belt will last you 5-10x longer than a belt that’s 1/2 the cost.

You are correct about the language. John Willis is so foul mouthed that I quit watching any video he was in. Seems like nice gear but using that kind of language to promote it is very unnecessary for a youtube video.

Ok so I was digging your video until you went super nerd with the whole (avoiding any expletives, or any sexual inuendo etc) at all. Lighten up dude, you will be happier and live longer. The world is not made for children! Good luck with all that angelic mindset. Keep in mind angels are mythical.

+Wolfe. So if I use profanity I will live longer? Or just allow profanity? And I don't know about the world, but my channel IS made for children as well as adults. What I don't understand at all is why it would bother someone to NOT use certain language.
