You guys convinced me to just buy a new couch. The ads for slip covers always make it look perfect but in real life, they look like sheets placed on the couch. Not sure it’s worth the investment. Might just buy a new couch and be done with it. Thank you for the review!

They're not sheets or old-style slip covers. I just bought one, and it's a stretchy fabric constructed to fit common couch and upholstered chair shapes. And it fits better than in this video. I had sheets before this, and they looked awful.

Would have been nice if the bigger cover set came with individual cushion covers. Probably like your couch though it looks as if they are zip pillows. Would’ve been even better if the cover itself had a tiny space for the zipper parts on the back of the pillows…you could maybe get someone (or yourself depending how crafty) to tailor some reenforced holes for that part. In any case great information thanx for making this bid. I’d like to find a water proof one though. Our old couch was replaced with a new one because not only did our lil cat devils scratch but one would pee on it all the time. So far we’ve basically kept the plastic that came with the new couch and it’s worked…but it’s so ugly lmao we also have a static type mat that’s great for it and the counters!

My pup has ruined my house haha, woth 2 Young children and 1 Yr old dog all over the sofa it's all pulled and looking old , I just saw these on an ad and found your video, my sofa also has individual cushions so I'm glad I can see what it looks like x

Thanks for sharing. I paid $170 to get some old sofas cleaned. I wanted to slipcover them because they are beige and I did not want to pay $170 again to clean them. But that would have been 2,500 to 3,000 for both. I think I may just throw a bedsheet on them because I do not want to put anymore money into them. Thanks for sharing.

It's great! There's a couple small holes on one arm, but that's from my blind cat trying to pull himself up, not from scratching 😸 They really don't even scratch these, I think because the texture and stretch makes them hard to scratch and not fun. A couple times I have caught them scratching a corner, but haven't seen any damage. Hope that helps!

Get better scratching posts you can make your own just with sisal rope and a staple gun. They each need one for themselves. Cat posts help destress. Don't buy the cloth ones because they associate cloth with being ok to scratch

Still going strong a year and a half later and I feel like it's about 1000x better looking than the torn up couch 😆 Maybe not everyone's perfect solution but we're still very happy with them!

Those cushions were absolutely filthy. You should have soaked and scrubbed them down in the bathtub. I taught my catS to use a scratching post in 2 hours. All you need is a squirt bottle in their face and a firm ''No'' You than take them over to their scratching post and physically take the paws and go up and down the scratching post. They will start scratching it when they know they have something that is their own to scratch on. I think you should invest in a couple of new couches and take better care of your furniture or it will just repeat itself. I think they look horrible.
