With the light turned on 3 clicks changes stepped ramping to smooth ramping.

It's supposed to. Oddly on my example, it doesn't happen. Guess mine is a bit defective. But otherwise works well.

@@NGMonocrom Go into the advanced mode. An easy way to tell if you if your in advanced mode is 3 clicks from off. That's the battery voltage check mode. if it only cycles once, that's the simple mode. if it keeps cycling that's the advanced mode. Then you should be able select between stepped ramp and smooth ramp with 3 button presses from on.

From simple mode, 10 clicks from off, holding the 10th click. That will get you into advanced mode.

You can replace the clip with a better one from Olight. It's the Baton 3 clip and just a couple of bucks. Also, the three clicks and "beacon" is telling you your battery level. hope that helps.
