The programme QI is still on tv and the people who do the research are known as QI elves. It is them that write the book. It's a British book so the z is pronounced as a zed (It's only American's that say zee). A z (zed) bed is a foldable bed that can be stored away. The list of names you read out as being born on 23rd March are all British Olympians. They have all won multiple gold Olympic medals except Sir Roger Bannister who only won one but was the first person run a mile in under 4 minutes.
