Softail Quarter Fairing Install - Harley-Davidson Low Rider (FXLR)

More upgrades on the Harley-Davidson Low Rider. I install the Vivid Black Softail Quarter Fairing. Sorry about the audio, had some mic issues and a little background noise with the garage door open near a freeway.

Does your fairing vibrate? I installed a similar looking one from a Generic made in chine brand from eBay was kinda a pain to install but I got it to fit but I notice it vibrates all the time but so does my bike 09 street bob

No, the Harley fairing mounting brackets are very secure. I didn't notice any vibration to speak of.

Hi, some question, does it protect the wind onto your chest? and how about the wind noise on your head?

It gets some wind off the chest and shoulders but I was still getting air to the helmet. It didn't cause any buffeting for me personally, so it worked ok.

Mine finally broke. Connector that pushes in the rubber Gomet snapped.

I really like the bars on the Street Bob, so personally I think they would be great!

So I recently just purchased this, waiting for it to come in. I was on a ride with my club, and I could barely keep up with them. The bike was all over the road and it felt really loose. Will this help with the bike staying on the road more?

My clutch cable touches the fairing. Does yours?

It touched a little with the stock cable guide mounted to the metal visor over the headlight. Once I installed the cable guide that comes with the kit it was ok. The clutch cable got really scratched up though because it rubs against the open end of the new cable guide.

Whats the length of the shield?

The quarter fairing is contoured so it doesn't come up very high. I never measured the dimensions, but the width is probably about 14-15"" and the height is about 16"
