Im in middle school and have tryouts in 2 weeks I've never played but this helped I've played catch and have been practicing my throws and tryed getting good with my hit but i dont think its enough i hope that i can just be a good cheerleader enough that i make it 😅

@@Kay_your_local_toemuncher it wasnt bc i did bad on one certain thing it was just i didnt meet the standards of what my schools softball team needed and there were also a lot of girls trying out so that made it worse. if you just try your best and be confident im sure you will do well!

Can you do pitching tips if you haven’t already? I’m trying out for pitching and I need some help on how to have a proper stance and how to put more force into the ball

I dont know much about the softball pitching motion - only the mental and strategy side - sorry! Was a baseball pitcher, not a softball one.

My daughter has developed Osgood-Schlatter disease as she is getting ready for tryouts Any experience with this or tips on any additional stretches/exercises that would be good for a softball player in this position. Quitting to rest is something she doesn't want to do. She is a 14U utility player and catcher. She is taping it, wearing knee straps and started accupuncture this week. Any recomendations would be awesome!

Hi Laura. Yes, I've worked with athletes with O-S and lots of other ailments, but I'm sorry - I'm really not comfortable giving out training advice for specific conditions, I think advice like that is best given out by those able to work with her in person.
