I’m not a transmission expert nor a mechanic, however; who in their right mind would come up with such a complicated design just to conveniently use an auto or Semi auto as a manual. Just stick to old fashion way ffs, either go full auto or full manual. If I knew about this problem I would have purchased my car with a manual gearbox. Plain and simple

@@alNange to make it Automatic and autonomous it HAS to be complicated.. who in their right mind would create something as risky, clunky, archaic, inefficient and terrible as a manual transmission? Just because you dont understand something or your attention span is the size of a cockroach and you dont get the engineering marvel of this stuff doesnt mean they came up with a stupidly complex system like this for no reason... "just to conveniently use an auto" which is such a dumb thing to say because THAT IS HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO BE to MAKE it automatic. Its good that its complicated because it has to be that way for a car to perform much better and automatic when slipping gears, it gives the word "automobile" more meaning

i bought a new one, because my mercedes sprinter shifts all the way up to the 5th gear, while i'm still doing 20mph, so i need to shift back and then up again manualy or else the engine is running in way too low rpm. And it only shifts back when i'm almost standing still, and also the kick down doesn't work. The weird thing is that it doesn't have this problem all the time, because at some brief moments it's running fine, mostly when it's still cold at the first drive of the day. and, when i'm driving at top speed, it feels like as if the engine is stuttering, so more like as if the engine is turned on and off, but then like 3000 or whatever times a minute. so could this all be caused by that cunductor plate? (i hope so, because otherwise it would mean that there's another problem i don't know of, and that would suck, because i also heared stories about a broken wiring loom, and that's out of my league, because i'm not an electronics fan. I have this 2011 sprinter for 3/4 year now, and before this one i had a 1995 sprinter, and that one did had good old fasion thick copper wires, but this modern piece of shit has wires that are as thin as a needle, so fragile as hell, so no wonder that i hear those stories of a broken wire, and what a pain in in the ass it can be to find it. So please tell me that it wil be over when i swap that fantastic happy plastic, because that damn van is already taking more attention than the average wife!
@elomeli2115 жыл бұрын
@@3DPeter don't just throw parts at it.. Either take it to mercedes to get it connected to a diagnostic or get something like the icarsoft mb ii. It's like a computer that reads anything wrong with a mercedes. You can also use it to check the values of the solenoids on the conductor plate. But I would also read any stored or pending codes on the engine. Transmission shouldn't create a sputtering engine. Sounds more like you have a few different issues going on.

This is amazing! I remember the original machine which had a baseplate of prefabulated amulite surmounted by a mealeable logarithmic casing, in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in direct line with the panametric fan. The latter cosisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzelvanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal Lotus O-deltoid type, placed in panandermic semi boloid slots of the stator. Every seventh conductor was connected via a non reversible tremmie pipe to a differential girdle spring on the up end of the grammeters - thus completing the cycle.

The problem is, dsg transmission problems often result in totalling the vehicle (particularly in VWs). Sure, if you have a shop that has all this high tech equipment to test and rebuild the mech unit, you are still spending big money. Replacing with a new mech is pretty pricey and, in my experience, it is a gamble. Then, there is still a big chance the problem persists or comes back soon, resulting in complete transmission replacement. I got tired of trying to go the mechatronic replacement route and ultimately having the uncomfortable conversation with customers that the fix didn't work and now they need a whole transmission. Talk about pissed! Now, my shop never replaces mech units. It is better to put a used transmission in and get rid of the car or just cut your losses altogether.
