Great recipe! I thought my dough was too wet, maybe the milk was too hot or added the eggs too late. Stuck it in the fridge for 2 hours to rest, let it proof on the counter for one and still turned out great! Definitely going to make this more often. Thank you for sharing!

I guess the butter melting at that slow rate is to make sure that the heating of the milk mixture dont cross 110 degree so as not to affect the rising of the yeast in the doughnut batter mixture. Am no expert am just saying.

Butter gets melted with milk? Wait until cold or still warm,when it pour to flour? This method are new one for me
@LAINYTAVARES4 жыл бұрын
It's much better and fast if you melt the butter first (microwave it) and then mix it with warm milk. Pour into the yeast and flour while still a bit hot (not super hot, or it will "kill" the yeast. Also not cold, or it wont activate it). Hot enought for you to put your finger and don't get burned, ok? 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🥛🥛🥛🥛
