For all those who were, & are, interested in our music, THANK YOU. I ‘carry on’, not just for Susan who died before her time, but Also for my father, Alan Williams, who was a Wonderful musician who also died at a relatively young age. Dad didn’t get the chance to become professional because of working in a car factory when he came out of the RAF after World War Two. So thank you, all of you. Kay x.

@@stargazerlily24 No I did not marry the manager, I married our 3rd drummer who turned out to be 'not suitable', eventually. But between us, we created a son, who is the light of my, & many others' lives. Gorgeous cat image, really beautiful. Animals have a tendency to follow me about, especially black animals, so some erm , idiot, said 'You're a Witch Then.' When I 'd stopped laughing, I said, 'It might be an idea for you to listen to Stevie Wonder's song Superstition. It is always so sad to learn of anyone who has taken their own life for whatever reason, to be that desperate that to end it all seems to be the only rational thing to do. And yet if they had seeked and found help they might be with us today. An obvious talent and to die so young, her legacy will live on and entertain many generations to come. I hope you found the peace you were looking for Susan, enjoy the great gig in the sky.

Never heard of this until today...neither the song nor the artist. I'm 65 yrs old and surely would've dug hearing this as a 23 yr old in 1981 growing up in Houston. Just got done listening to The Passions for the first time ("In Love w/ a German Film Star")...so many long forgotten songs from the early 80's when music was undergoing a revolution from pure punk to new wave/power pop...sorry I didn't hear these then, but nevertheless they found me now, thank God.

This is one of my favourite songs ever. I have more or less the opposite experience from you : I didn't remember the The Passions song until I heard it after reading your comment and immediately recognized it. Somehow, it was already in my recommendations and I had already opened it in a separate window. Greetz from a 63 old guy from Belgium.

Love this song. Loved it when it first came out in 1981 and it sounds just as fantastic today. This was on the radio all the time back in the day, but for all the stations that keep playing 80s stuff today, this song seems to get ignored now, yet it has stood the test of time remarkably well and although it has an obvious 80s feel, it still sounds wonderfully fresh and vibrant.
