I feel like Data Scientists are gatekept by a MS, while software engineers can start with a BS. So it’s 115k w/ a BS vs 125k w/ a MS.

what makes me angry is that a Personal assistant can make $100k to $150k in NY just by greeting people, booking flights and shopping. Yes is a personality type of role but imagine learning to code and keeping up w tech to be paid the same as an assistant that didnt go to school. hehehe just saying!
