I admire her honesty, but she is not there yet. Even with everything she's been through, I think she may still see some glimmer in the hustling. It's like a high in and of itself, one that so far has successfully fed the greater beast within. She's been hurt, unimaginably so.. but she's been riding that high of successfully hustling some dudes that haven't turned on her yet like others. Bless her 🙏

My Father was a crack addict, I resonate so much with her story. My mom was the one working 3 jobs so she was barely ever home, still to this day I tell her things that she's just finding out about. My dad locking me and my brothers out of the house in the summertime and he would not let us in to get a drink, because he was in there partying smoking crack with friends. He sold our stuff, pawned it. I got hooked on heroin when I was 20 then was on heroin and crack by the age of 22. I have been clean for four years now and the happiest I've ever been my whole life. If I can get clean I know she can. Prayers for her. I'm rooting for her. ❤️

I like the backdrop in these interviews. It kind of reminds me of high school photos on picture day. It's a perfectly neutral background that takes all the focus off of everything, and this channel is just like a portrait of humanity. I love seeing interviews of the "average person". Or even what some people might call less than average. REAL people, with REAL problems. Let's stop making celebrities our idols guys! Let's stop treating only their deaths like it's the end of the world. HUMAN life is precious, no matter who it is.

Yup. I used to feel like I was born into trauma. Not long before I was born my aunt Peggy "Whom I'm named after was murdered "stabbed to death in Hawaii. The killer was never caught. My father committed suicide, "shot himself" when I was 6. I didn't handle it well and was put in mental institution. I was raised in a nudist colony and molested by men when I was very little. One of my boyfriends was stabbed to death. The guy who did it was caught and made a deal for 19yrs. My sister in law died of a drug overdose at the age of 36. Leaving behind my brother and my 9yr old niece. Now I'm addicted to Gabapentin. Is this amount of trauma normal for one person?

@@Monzta There is a saying that admitting or recognizing a wrong is the 1st step to healing and reconciliation. I’m more bothered by the wrongdoers that are oblivious to their wrongdoings and addiction literally takes over your better judgments. There are straight men that became addicts and have sucked a Johnson in a desperate moment to get monies for access to more drugs. There are women addicts selling sex not because they are depraved nymphomaniacs, but to get more access to drugs. Nancy Reagan said it best, “Just Say No.”, but unfortunately life happens and everyone isn’t born into a stable loving environment and everyone at varying times in their lives may not necessarily possess the best coping skills when faced with difficult or painful circumstances so they turn to self medicating. Drug abuse is like a merry go round that’s going fast and your only hope to save yourself is to jump off…but you fear the fall.

I KNEW it! I took one look at her and thought: nonprofit, maybe with a specialty in marketing. Come ON Savannah, you are NOT a crackhead on skid row. You are, for now, apparantly addicted to to a substance which has taken enough from you that you are at a particularly low point. But you have physically and emotionally come out so well, despite this! Flag down the first established nonprofit with a good reputation that's out there trying to get people out of the life ( or find them). Tell them you want to work with them, let them help you find shelter and get clean. Intern with their admin department (for that, you won't need the degree in social work). It's sooo rewarding to work with a good LOCAL organization because you see the immediate fruits of your labor. It can even pay well if you rise high enough in the ranks. I'm not in CA but am happy to answer questions. Make your HIGH and need for excitement work FOR you in the service of OTHERS :-))))

Its like she is telling the story of someone else...she is not identified with it...she clearly managed to save a sacred part of herself, which will lead her way out of this. This is not the life she is ment to live. She seems incredibly strong, although she might be broken a million times she is not falling apart. Im positive she will change the script.

What I love the most about all these interviews is that no matter who he interviews there is always something to learn about these people because they are simply HUMAN! No one is perfect we all make mistakes but I applaud this man Mark for having the courage to really explore different people and not judge them. When I was younger I use to label people in my head and turn my face but now that I am older and coming from so many family members on drugs, I now look at people and just try to empathize with them even if they are angry people and just wonder in my head what they been through that made them make the choices they do. Being abused pretty bad as a kid makes me wonder how I could have easily went down the drug path and done other things because I seen my own brother go through it. Just thankful and hopeful that some of these people get the help they need so they don't have to carry so much hurt and pain with themselves all their lives!

“at night it might get scary, but the morning is always beautiful”…..that made me want to cry. The fact that she’s allegedly cold enough to be so awful to someone who loves her like that guy does, but then speak about the world and humanity is such a way. Her insides are in turmoil 😞. And the fact that she still has so much love for her parents after everything they didn’t do for her well-being as a child….she’s pretty magical 🥲

This young lady is obviously a master at blending in. She can either continue on her path as an addict destroying herself and everyone she hustles or she can choose a life that saves her own soul and helps those she comes in contact with. Remembering that we are the ones who are in control of this choice. Every second is another chance. I pray that she starts to choose wisely because 22 turns into 42 in a blink and I have a feeling her beauty will not last. Anger and chaos twists people. Good luck! You can do anything you set your mind to and I truly believe that you have the strength.

Bless her heart. I just celebrated 10 years of sobriety from opiates, addiction and mental health usually go hand and hand. Lots of people think that choosing drugs as a vice is ultimately a choice but I guarantee you that if there was ever a choice between having a supportive, healthy life with an outlet to vent that most addicts would choose that over using drugs. I'm rooting for you sweet girl 🤎

Damn such a real person……she is such a beautiful human. If by some off chance she’s reading this, I truly hope things are looking up and that you are clean and sober or working towards it. As an addict myself (17 years sober), I know where she’s coming from although she’s had a hell of a tougher go of it than I have. ❤

10 1/2 years into recovery this story makes me so grateful my wife divorced me to save the children’s lives. The part where she described being pimped out gave me reflection that I’m one of the lucky ones. The depression she speaks of is the part where you’re depressed because you use and you use because you’re depressed. It’s a lonely, desperate space up inside your head. The relapses are so brutally painful to those you love. What I hear from her is the self-loathing and you despise yourself and you’d rather die than live. Even after having had a long period of recovery the rumination of the past is never far away. And family forgives you but they still remember.

Yes because I used to be on meth real bad, and even when I was using I was still a praying person, but I was ashamed. But my Mama prayed for me as well as my dad I'm sure that"please Lord take the addiction away from my daughter and let her get away from the man that she is with now and doing it with"... More specifically my mom actually said "take the desire to want to do that drug out of her". And I tell you what prayers are very powerful especially if you're a woman of Faith or a man of faith. I still got some demons ie alcohol, pot, and Xanax pills. My mom doesn't pray nightly every day but when she does she prays for the Lord to take the desire away from me to do the pills, cigarettes, alcohol. My mom likes her alcohol beers and I pray for God to take the desire away from her and my fiance to quit smoking cigarettes, and she actually has slowed down on smoking cigarettes praise God. God bless you and your family young lady I believe if you believe in yourself that you can conquer the crack addiction. In Jesus name I pray and claim amen.
