Never told anyone this but when I was like 6 or 7 a person only a year or two older than me touched me long story short, and I've felt weird and anxious about sexual stuff ever since, I don't know if it was traumatic because we were essentially the same age and gender, but since then I've known about sex way earlier than I should've. I really sympathize with this guy, I've completely avoided sex my whole life due to anxiety and idk if that's where it stems from

I was stationed in Sasebo, Kyushu, Japan while in the Navy. And I can definitely relate to this man. To be honest the Navy culture during the early 2000's was really toxic. Especially for overseas Sailors because they don't have the support of family and friends from back home. And communication with friends and family while on a ship was difficult because you would be out to sea all the time and wouldn't get a cellphone signal. And we were out at sea for months.

@@paisleygirl6642 this is gonna be a hot take, but i think its different, he was a 15 year old boy and consented. (Yes i do think its different for men and women.) It doesnt sound like this guy had any longlasting problems from that experience. IMO most his problems stem from lack of positive male role models. Btw i dont think its right adult women have sex with underage kids. Sex has consequences and kids arent old enough to fully realize that and unequipped to take on that responsibility.

His message is very important, sexual addiction must be taken as seriously as substance addictions. It can cost your job, carrier, wealth and eventually your life, it ruins friendships, relationships, families. Yet, I think most people are not even aware of this issue, it's often ridiculed and even professionals hesitate to recognize the problem. At least in my country it's quite difficult to find professional treatment and rehabilitation services for sex addicts or porn addicts. So good job, keep up raising awareness.

I’ve been trying to escape for a long time. I was doing good, but I recently fell back. All it takes is once. Even being aware of it, the pull has returned. This story is very encouraging, especially as I attribute my freedom from addiction to Christ, as well. So much respect for this video. I’m sure this helps many young men, besides myself. We get so confused by what society tells us to be. I’ve destroyed friendships, relationships, everything, from lacking self-control. I’ve burned far more people than I’ve ever loved, because of pride and lust. It’s all fun and games until you realize that you’re alone, deep-inside, despite it all. So much of this story hits me close. Wish you only the best, sir. Respect. 💪🏼

I'm going through these same issues at 20 y/o and it's hard to manage, especially living on my own and not having my parents around to restrict me from certain things. Thank you for showing me there is light at the end of this tunnel. I am still working on myself and I am more than grateful I came across your story tonight. Thank You.

Wow. What a powerful story. Thank-you and thank you Tony for this video. So many parts of it resonated with me. But what he said at the end really hit home. Its always been me against me and you gotta find a way to stop beating yourself up. I have my own channel where I'm telling my own story of addiction and recovery. I had 7 years sober in the states until I moved here to the virgin Islands. Just coming off of what's basically been a 4 year bender. I celebrated a month sober on 5/8/24. There is a way out. Thank-you again for this video. Here's to another 24!

Wow, this guy is so impressive. He has a very grounded and grounding energy about him. Self assured, wise, and he knows himself. One line that stuck w me "im a phenominal artist." Wow! To hear someone own their gift is wild. We need more of this. Recognizing, naming, owning ones genius. What if we all spoke of ourselves like that. I also love how hes always been driven by his angels and received messages that there was more for him. Gives me hope that I can re connect with my gifts as well. Thank u Tony. And yr lyrics are amazing as well. How messed up that ur innocence was stolen like that. A sad and poignant reminder of how many young boys are abused and it written off as acceptable b/c of toxic masculinity.

That same line struck me too. Indeed, there's a world of difference between boastful pride and humble confidence. The interviewee, Tony, speaks of his talent as a God-given gift and even as a purpose: a responsibility to steward. That's a good outlook. His self-assessment seems to be spot on. I think the rap (poem) he read aloud was _phenomenally artistic._ And due to my own early life story, it also spoke to me in a deeply personal way. As I'm sure it did to many. Thank you for your comment. I wish you all the best. Blessings. Tony, if you ever happen to read this, I wish you the best as well.

Are you able to get treatment through the VA? You might want to look into a therapy called "EMDR". I dont have/never had any issues with Porn... But, I have major PTSD/Depression/Anxiety/TBI from my Deployments (im 100% through the VA for this stuff). I didnt have the best childhood. I fought through a major addiction & finally got sober. I could go on and on.. but, I think you get the point. If you know these experiences & issues...then you just know the deal/know what the journey is like. I've tried all kinds of treatment and therapy over the years. NONE of it did sh*t for me. I found out about EMDR therapy and started doing weekly sessions, been doing them for the last year. It's been MAJOR, bruh'! It's hard, I break down every week during the session. It brings up some serious shit from your past...but, it's needed. It's worked better than anything else I've tried. Still have a long way to go & there's shit that we had to do during those deployments that I'll NEVER come to peace with...but Man ~ it's soo nice to be able to "take that edge off" and "readjust the load" that we carry with us. You can also go to one of the PTSD inpatient treatment programs through the VA. They're 6 weeks to 2 months depending on which one you attend. But, it will more than likely get you to 100% with the VA...and, the treatment and therapy is unreal! If you need help...its out there. If you need some suggestions/if there's anything I can do to help...lemme know.

Mark, great video and huge kudos for showing the flip side of the coin with who can be pedophiles . As a mother of 4, I am sad that this young man was not protected from the evil female child molestor who assaulted him. As a society, many times when a teen male is sexually assaulted by a female adult, it's looked at as a ' your so lucky' kind of a situation. It really angers me when this happens. My brother was molested as a boy and a teen in similar way and his life was such a disaster after. He ended up dying because of it.
