I started doing drugs years ago as a teenage, got addicted to fentanyl. Spent my whole life fighting fentanyl addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with OCD. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 4 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

Don’t listen to the clinic if they try to tell you to not taper. My clinic tried to get me to stay on it and I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them. They’ll have you tapering 1mg a month so they can get money out of you longer.

Chris, you are an intelligent good looking guy. Your teeth can be sorted. Get on a program. Go to a meeting of N.A. Stop using past sadness as an excuse to use. My husband is a recovering addict. He's fallen off the wagon a few times and I've chucked him out. We're in our 60's now. Bad things have happened. Terrible childhood stuff happened but none of this is an excuse to use. Using is just using. We USE because it's raining, because it's Tuesday. Go and ask for help. It CAN be done. You CAN be 67 with really good stuff in your life, like us. ASK FOR HELP from all places available, tomorrow. Choose to go through shit and recover. Good luck.

This is one of the most heartbreaking interviews I have seen on this channel. I get why he’s lost in his addiction. I don’t think I’d want to live either. I lost my brother 4 years ago and his death destroyed my parents. I only hang on because I’m a mother myself. I can’t imagine losing your 2 year old baby 💔 I’ll keep you in my prayers, Chris. You need help with the addiction but also help with your immense emotional pain. I started with Methadone, too. It can truly save your life. It’s a great idea to try it! fent is hard to come off of. i did pills for 10 years and fent for 2 years and now im clean and feel a hell of a lot better. now i realize when i thought it was making me feel good it was actually just weighing me down. like a heavy load on you. hope you can get clean too. i did mine myself at home and it was f**king hard as hell

The grief is just too much for this man. He’s numbing the pain, not just of the tragic loss, but of his life overall. Trauma =Addiction. Chris, you can heal, it’s going to be so so so hard, but I believe you can get off drugs and find something that brings you joy. I feel you could help others in grief. A grief counselor perhaps. There are programs in sf that you can get suboxone or subutex and get off of the fent slowly and with other meds to help. It's still not comfy, but there are some options other than methadone Chris!

Do your best to positively change the things you have control over. We are the hands and feet of God in this physical realm, and most simply don't perceive this simple truth. In our blindness we follow the dark path of selfishness, hate, deception, ego, etc. When we begin to develop the eyes to see, we crucify the old man and resurrect to new man of selflessness, love, humility, peace, etc. We transform from carnal to spiritual! ❤

Chris...lately I have wondered where all of the date-able men have gone. I guess I found one if them. I would have dated someone like you, easily (sober of course)...a new relationship with a life-long sober woman and a bit of spit and fire and you will do it! Please understand that it will take your family/friends/baby mamma a long time to trust you when you get sober but that trust will come. You just have to keep up the good. I know you can do it!
