i don't agree with your view on porn....i don't think porn is neutral...i think it does have negative effects....but to say porn contributes to rape culture is as ridiculous as saying video games contribute to violence...i've had multiple talks with my own therapist about your recent interviews [edit] also wondering....do you think it's even possible to have an objective perspective on porn? if you don't consume it, you really don't know what's going on in porn....but if you do consume it, it may affect you.

Hi Sadia. Looking at the reality of arranged marriages, Pakistani too, it doesn't seem to be something better. 38 to 49 percent of marriages between Pakistanis is between 1st cousins, which is the cause of children being born with very serious mental and physical problems, for example. The divorce rate in 2019 in Pakistan was at an all time high. Over 90 percent of women in Pakistan have experienced domestic violence in their lifetime.

I've listened to Tate some and he does say somethings I disagree with but he does present an intelligent perspective that you will not get from many sources these days. It's hard to find masculine perspective in popular media today. Remember the media will only focus on the negative angle of a person, but he says some e uplifting things for men that are needed. Most of the people that dislike him don't really even listen to him. That is how society is, to me it's just weird how people want to erase people they disagree with. I've heard more positive things from him than bad, he has said some bad advice but I use MY mind to make judgement on whether I agree or disagree. I don't listen to him much, but he is popular for a REAL reason. Someone tried to tell me he was a bad person once, and she showed me a video someone made about how bad he was. I thought that was weird. In the video he basically was talking about a form of virtual pimping with only fans and how to do it, which is Immoral and I can see why he would be called a misogynist. But that video was old. But from the videos that Ive seen... It's none of that. I simply wouldn't be watching that, because that's not what I'm into. Most of the videos I've seen are about male empowerment and life lessons and people don't like that. Dude has gotten a lot of media hate coverage which is strange to me.

Its the best single paper on this subject. "There had been indications that the other was incapable of reciprocating, or loving, or accepting them in the way they desire. They had been pursuing an alluring but rejecting object; an exciting yet frustrating object. The object initially may have offered the conditions of hope but it failed to satisfy. It had awakened an intensity of yearning but it is essentially the elusive object of desire, seemingly there but just out of reach."

That is so true. I am overweight and long for a relationship, but realized I have been running from the truth. I have low self esteem due to my weight and am self conscious of it. Rightfully so, I suppose. Now on a weight loss journey to correct my wrongs. Lost 17 pounds. I was 320 at my heaviest, but am 300.4 now. You'd think that may not be much, and it is not really. However, I didn't realize guys really viewed me, and that is because they did not. Who would? That fact made me feel the heaviest rejection from society. It is verrryyy hard to accept that while looking in the mirror. Once I did, I felt accepting of where I am at now, but ambitious of where I could be. The reality is just what it is and deluding ourselves doesn’t change it. When you feel good from making your body healthier, it shows via confidence and happiness, which is appealing.

I tried to do everything hoping he’d do everything and rise up as a partner. Never asked for him to pay my bills nor had he ever offered. My son asked me if it’s worth it, my husband left me in October hoping we could just make it long distance while reworking through immigration. Other men have wanted to marry me and take care of me but I feel so much that there is value and respect in marriage. I can’t even get him to tell his parents we are married. I'm a little creeped out by this one. I dunno. Talking about Andrew Tate like he's a credible person? All the talk of if a woman gains weight she's unattractive? What about if the man gains weight? No word on that one. This one turned me off a bit. Some good nuggets of truth, but some made me say WTH?

Yes, both of them agree that it is OK to dump a female partner if she gains weight--but also claim that the reason successful couples stay together into old age is NOT because they remain "hot" but because of their emotional connection. Contradictions anyone????
@HitTheBricks899 ай бұрын
@@ukalypse Yes of course contradictions , not everyone is the same , one rule doesn't fit all and neither of them is saying it is ok to finish with a person or not , they are making observations and speaking about other peoples observations. You really seem to miss the point of wat social psychology actually entails . It's not judging right or wrong rather just observing and understanding why people behave as they do.

what a deeply deeply sad and upsetting video. as a gay woman that's never been very interested in dating (i've always valued friendship really highly, i might even be somewhat aro-are who knows), the world of heterosexual dating seems so paved in sadness. women feel so much like commodities that need to meet a certain standard, and men even start viewing themselves that way. my god it makes me sad. and this interview has completely changed my view of you too, Mark. i really can't understand a world where you would not just lose all attraction, but lose all love and affection for a woman just because she gains weight. i can't wrap my head around it - where does that love go? was there any love at all, if it was all just based on physical attraction? is that not an impossible standard to meet, as we age? the relief i feel that i'm not interested in men is immense. it seems like such a lonely world. it felt contradictory to at the start establish that a relationship can't just be built on attractiveness (since it's a temporary and fickle thing), that a relationship needs dedicated work and willingness to see through. just to later agree that attractiveness is still a must if you want the relationship to hold. i supposed we as humans are contradictory, but how grim. there must be other things that your partner finds attractive about you in your personality, surely? otherwise, wouldn't all relationships inevitably end as we age? what sort of fulfilling relationship can be torn down by some weight gain? i understand you must not speak for everyone when you talk like this, but what an empty, lonely world you've painted with your discussion today. saddened me deeply.

Imagine if his wife was in a terrible disfiguring accident. Would he lose his love for her due to unforeseen circumstances? It all seems very superficial and shallow although I understand that a photographer's entire profession revolves around visual imagery (including glossing ordinary objects to ensure that they're desired by the audience) so he may be a standard deviation or two away from the average man. Further, it was misrepresentation to tell his audience that Ms. Khan is a psychologist since she lacks the proper credential. I've never met a psychologist who places so much emphasis upon looks and sex appeal but rather encourages people to develop more character including delving deeper into human interaction beyond skin deep level.
@ppharaoh54219 ай бұрын
It’s nearly impossible for disabled “ugly”, autistic/neurodivergent, people with conditions etc, to find love. People are shallow and so love really only exists as an idea. Basically no one loves even conditionally. If people really had it in them to love we’d see a much better world

Mark is right. Once cheating takes place the respect for yourself and the person who cheated on you is gone. I don’t know how you get that respect back?
@HitTheBricks899 ай бұрын
You don't get back the exact form of respect you had but if what you feel for the person amounts to more than what one mistake removes then there is a respect that can be built on , though it will always have that condition.,
@thedeep4368 ай бұрын
Responsability and Respect comes from the same root, meaning how you respond to the actual fact. Maybe by firstly acknowledging what you did, reflecting on why you did, then knowing why you regret doing it, then forgiving yourself because you didnt know better at the time, making emends if necessary, and maturing from all this cycle. That is what growing is all about. Also respect your partner, if the cheating had no meaning, there is no need to tell the other. The confession part is at the end just an apparent easy exit to show repent and get rid of the guilty, but it damages the self steam/confidence of your partner who didnt ask for any of it. So you made a genuine mistake, suck up the guilt with 100% responsibility.
