I am glad you made this review. This is one of my favorite fixed blades. I prefer this knife to the SOG seal pup. I think the blade geometry is better. I liked this knife so much I bought 2 of them. Been looking for the black blade one, but SOG discontinued it and they are hard to find.

I like a lot of the S.O.G. stuff because they don't use a lot of brass, and brown leather like everyone else. It's hard to find stuff with black leather, and steel. Most of the knives that have that are just the combat only type.

Finally, a good lookin blade from S.O.G. I'm really likin it. I see what you mean about the handle though, it reminds me of a throwing knife handle in the way it's shaped. sweet review man!

wife got me this on our honeymoon. it's a great knife. I put a little lanyard on it and that makes it a 10 times better chopper (not that that's safe but who cares) nice review brother man

I have this knife and got it on eBay for $20. Great condition, some kid bought it for airsoft and painted it green. I removed the paint and it looked brand new. I like the feel of the knife if they upgrade the steel I'll buy another one.

One of my first knives was a Sog Flash and it broke. I sent it in for repair and got it back and it still was broken. Never got it right .

Nice hunting knife, that sheath looks like the Schrade 42's it also has the strap that moves around. Which I don't mind cause eventually I'm gonna need to make a new one cause the fricken knife cuts it every time. Must be nice living next to people who don't think guns are evil, I live in the middle of the most left-wing tree hugging gun hating area of Oregon. Its OK for grown men to ride their bikes butt naked around 3 year olds but don't teach your kids how to shoot a gun cause that's child abuse......UGH not joking either.
