Shunji Iwai should have continued this story. we have seen how Alice and Hana meet (H&A Satsujin Jiken 2015). I now want to see 18/20 years after they grow up. I like watching movies with Aoi Yu like "All about lily Chou-chou" and "Wife of The Spy".

I just watched this film for the first time after watching the prequel anime film The Case Of Hana & Alice that was recently released on home video here in the West but I unfortunately had to illegally stream this because the original film has never been released here. I’m usually against illegal streaming so I unfortunately had to make exception here.

Aoi Yu even since I saw his latest movie compared to Hana & Alice or All about Lily Chou-chou. He is ageless, I have never found anything like this. she is naturally beautiful.

I was looking for those Kitkat commercials that Iwai-san made before the movie and that. I think he made at least 4 of them that was posted on YT many moons ago but it was taken out a week after it was posted due to copyright. I hope anyone if they had a copy on those commercials kindly post it somehow. Those 4 commercials had a theme for 4 seasons. Besides Iwai as a director, it also stars Yu Aoi and Anne Suzuki in their respective characters. Its been years i've been looking for this, hope someone would kindly posted it.

I thought she finally felt free to express herself...she was a bit closed off and uncomfortable in past auditions...even in this audition (at the beginning)...im glad they allowed her to...her persistence and her need to do it right helped her out..the music was just the cherry on top of the cake..inspiring scene for anyone

Marcel Weber this is the original story. The anime was based on the version of Ostuichi which is first released as a short novel and it was inspired by this movie. And because Ostuichi is famous for thriller novels so yeah it’s more interesting but the original version was great anw. It’s cute
