Love how you go into details what you are thinking/feeling, unfortunately not everyone does that

fun fact, うなぎ (Unagi) is the Japanese word for eel, as well as the sushi made from eel, so the Unagi is literally just named "eel"

As for Sokka, I love the way they wrote his character. Even in the first episode, his behaviour is called out. That is really rare in a show from the early 2000s. I feel like sexism and underestimation of women/girls was really common back then. And now this episode! Sokka comes from a patriarchal tribe and isn't used to women fighting like the Kyoshi warriors. But he understands when he is wrong and is even able to apologise! I love it :) Maybe it's a stretch, but I always think of these episodes when there's one of those big discussions about new shows. Whether sexist and racist or discriminating characters can be shown. For me personally: Yes, they can be there. They exist in reality. But please call them out, show the problems. And maybe, depending on the character, give them the arc of redemption they deserve. This show did it perfectly. My final point regarding Sokka and Suki: Sokka may not be a traditional bender, but he is definitely a rizz bender 😄

I know this is already some months old, but if you don't already do it in new reactions, please adjust the audio a bit more. When I tune it up so that your voice is already uncomfortable loud, I can still barely hear the show. There are plenty other reaction channels who level the audio more, so as long as you cut some stuff out it should not be a copyright issue. Otherwise I really enjoy your reactions.

@@mah1ro267 thank you. I was having audio issues for a while but they do get better throughout the series!
