Aesthetic Pearl most in ATLA aren’t that bad but most in other movies are pointless characters that shouldn’t have even been included. For example Jar Jar Binks. But that what’s great about ATLA it has amazing dimension in each characters, all of them are funny in their own unique way but also can supple meaningful plot lines to the series. They attempted to do this in LOK but missed the mark with most of their characters not being able to reach a balancing point between comedy and plot line like literally every character was in ATLA

Also, sokka was the plan and idea guy for the gaang, and that role was taken over by asami in the legend of korra. Sokka is one of my favorite avatar characters. i wish we saw some impact he had on the water tribe in korra. like if some of the water tribes started training in the ways of the sword or something

What I love about this character is that he isn't just the goofy comic relief character; he's the strategist, the one they depend on the most when it comes to battle plans, and an aspiring warrior who wants to make his father proud of him. He's not one-dimensional at all and he grew as a character without losing his humor. This show was well-balanced and had characters filled with depth.
