Hi Barndog, when you take a look at the screen, your voice is not not as loud as when you're talking straight to the microphone. Imho. if you put the microphone in the front of the screen, you wouldn't need to turn your head away and it would be a much better experience for your's listeners. Great work!

Great content - much appreciated. I just don't understand why the Solana network is so crap. Been trying for a day and a half to get SOL across to buy more sneakers. Is there a risk that the Solana network dies and if so is there a mitigation strategy i.e. bridge onto BSC or move to another chain? I've got a ton of value sitting in this app and Solana is my biggest concern

Yes it's a funny one, I'm a Solana maxi and the chain is in Beta still, but it's had a bad 1-2 months really. I'm still happy with the chain long term honestly, but it's good to see STEPN looking much much further than 1 chain.

Hello, can I please ask for help regarding germs. There is no video in internet regarding how they work or do they really gain base parameters. For example efficiency Gem: Level 1 - cost 1.3 sol (+5% base) Level 2 - cost 20 sol (+70 base) for example if: LVL 9 with 42 eff will provide - 9.8 GST LVL 19 with 84 eff will provide - 9.8*2 = 19.6 GST Than LVL 19 with GEM eff LVL 2 will gain max eff to 96 ? and will provide only 21 GST? So does 20 sol for LVL 2 germ really worse it? +2 GST per day means you need about 4 month to earn profit for LVL 2 eff? Please advise and correct me if I a wrong Thanks

Great explanatory video, many thanks! One question: when is the quality of socket revealed? Only when we open the socket or is it possible to know even before? could not find this info in the white paper, which only mentions "Users will be able to see the Socket type without unlocking the socket, but NOT the Socket quality, which is determined by the Sneaker's quality". My understanding is that a socket is unlocked when you reached L5/10 etc. but unlock is different from opening. The type of socket (=attribute) is obviously visible even before unlocking. not clear to me when we can see the quality. And i assume a + symbol in the socket means that it has been open, without any gem in it?

yo, if u have shoe that's level 28, is it worth upgrading it to 30? I don't really understand what comfort does at lvl 30. is it basically just efficiency but only becomes active once level 30? if you could try to explain I'd really appreciate it. thanks

Trying to investigate best strategies for jumping into Stepn. Does it make sense to buy 3 shoes right away? Does it make sense to spend 4-5 k ( 100+ SOL) and get a zero mint, level 9 or even level 19 shoe from day 1 ?

My suggestion would be grab a floor priced Level 9 sneaker with 2 or 3 mints on it (This will act as an energy boost) Then go ahead and purchase 2 x 0 mint sneakers (These will be your minting sneakers) and work on a 1-0 mint flip strategy and work your way up through the tiers.

Hey Barndog I have a question, recently I opened 6 uncommon shoeboxes , out of these 6 I got 3 common shoes, according to the whitepaper there is 25% chance of getting common but from my expereicne I had 50 common shoes which is a big difference, there is something wrong here how can I get clarification on this?

hi mate, I think this video I've mentioned probabilities. Back end numbers worm fine, but some ppl woth a smaller number of mints/opens may appear to have good or bad luck. Ive minted 5 Rares and had 3 UC downgrades, and many other "bad luck" events. Worth looking into probabilities, sorry to hear about your opening experience, it's tough when you get rough luck patches

To be honest my strategy was to get uncommon shoes and sell them for a profit since the uncommon shoebox is cheaper, I got like 6 SOL profit when I get an uncommon shoe but with getting common shoes I lost at least 24 SOL per common Shoe

So u have 2 low pair shoes on SOLANA blockchain and 1 good pair of shoe on BNB blockchain You get 4 energy to spend for 24H And u decide on which Blockchain to spend the 4 Energy If u spend this 4 energy on Solana blockchain you will get GST 20 and when u trade it for solana and sell the solana u get (XXX quantity of $$$) Of course you gonna spend the 4 energy on the BNB Chain because you get 20 GST and trade it for BNB and sell it for 4 time more (XXX quantity $$$$$$ ) The daily ENERGY should be for the specific blockchain and not for the STEP User ACCOUNT!

You use the shoe on bnb chain and make the roi for 43 days. But if u buy 3 pair of shoe only on solana you make the roi for much longer. So u make more money on bnb chain and send it back to solana chain and mint like very cheap....
