Much better than anticipated. This movie made me think of Rev 8 "A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. the name of the star is Wormwood."

Good movie but what I don't understand is:- 1) why don't the president of America inform the American sub? There's got to be another way to send them a message or communicate. Right?? 2) when Lucas was in the Russian sub and heard the American subs are near, he would've told them to hold their fire earlier. 🤔. If he told them then there's a chance they won't be wasting torpedoes 🤔

Light takes around 8 minutes to reach the Earth from the sun. Light is made of photons which are massless so they travel at the speed of light. A CME has mass so can not travel anywhere near the speed of light and takes 15 hours to several days to travel the same distance.
