E-RYT 200, RYT 500 certified yoga instructor born and raised in San Diego, CA. Initially drawn to the physical benefits of yoga as an athlete in college, it was in 2011 during her first trip to India as a study abroad student when she acknowledges that her practice quickly shifted from a work out, to a work in. After spending half the year studying yoga, Indian culture, Sanskrit and Women's Studies at a university in Bangalore, Brittany spent the remainder of the year solo backpacking throughout the country exploring, expanding and diving deeper into her self study through the yoga practice. After spending the year traveling she returned to California where she finished up her Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies at CSU Monterey Bay. Following her graduation in 2013 her heart quickly guided her back to India where she completed a residential 200 Hour Hatha/Vinyasa teacher training at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. From 2013 till now Brittany has continued to explore + expand in her knowledge and offerings both as a teacher/student and share with others her passion for a practice that continues to transform her life, on and off the mat. In addition to her 200 Hour training, Brittany recently returned to San Diego from a third voyage to India this past June 2019 where she completed a residential 300 Hour Multi Style teacher training with Trimurti Yoga in Dharamsala, focusing on Yin Yoga and the five elements in Ayurveda + Traditional Chinese Medicine.
