Solar powered Electric fence for your garden to keep the critters out

Solar powered Electric fence addition to our garden.
After too many brave critters are climbing our 3 foot fence we installed one line of electric fence along the top.
This did help the ground hogs and deers from getting in. But not the bunnies. Next year we will run another line along the base of the fence to stop those cute little guys.

Could you give an idea of the cost of the whole setup? Brands you used, and approx price maybe by each bag/roll/device? Thanks so much in advance, and I admire your garden!

Hello! Thanks for the comment and question. The solar unit is a Zareba and I think it was about $150.00. Not sure of brands of the wire or Yellow hooks nor the price paid. I think the hooks were somewhere around $10.00 for like 20 of them. You had a plastic handle made for this, and disconnect the handle from the rest of fence before entering.
