15:09 First welcome to Canada my friend ! I care for you and your health, now I'm sure you've noticed your plywood above your diesel heater which is absorbing diesel. Please consider building a dual gas/diesel closed tanks. OR a closed plywood box on your back door for your diesel. We don't want to lose one of our newest kind people ! Stay safe x

I slept in my truck, went to school full time, and worked a job for 3 years. Tough as it was, it paid off in the end. Money saved, I’m working my career, and I’m now expecting my second child in September with my wife in our home we own together. Keep going brother. It’s worth it.

Get winter gear!!! This weekend forecasts a 'polar vortex' meaning it's going to 'feel like' (windchill) of -25 and it's going to be that way from Sunday until Tuesday (check your weather app). Just looking out for you, from north of Sudbury. I love how you put in that animation, I sure don't know much about that culture (yet), so thank you. (You ARE teaching the culture) Up where I live the culture is starting to take hold. The closest I've been to eating their food is 'samosas' sold here in our frozen section of the grocery store. I do appreciate that you're bringing this info to us. Glad you're here for our new 'no tax' special, that ends February 15th (my birthday). Hahaha, 'my friend, am I close to mayonnaise' I loved that lol If you head up here, (there are small northern cities, don't worry) I'd be so happy to buy you coffee and snacks and let you charge whatever you need charged up-with my outdoor electrical plug.

Being a nurse you should know the importance of nasal hair. The hair helps filter out viruses and other impurities from the air we breathe in. Why would you remove it, especially during the height of cold and flu season?? Why not simply clip the hair??

12:30 The "no tax" deal is a one-off, 2-month hiatus across all of Canada, instituted by the federal government (spun as a holiday gift/break from mid-December to mid-February) on select items, including prepared foods from food establishments which normally are taxed (normal groceries aren't taxed any time of the year). There are, of course, political reasons associated with this gift/break, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy the benefits of it!

After road trips in my Model Y camper, i feel the best way to do carlife/vanlife is to have a home, paid off, rented out, have savings, etc., but then go on adventures and travel for long periods of time. Eventually, you will want to go back to "homebase," so to speak. It's the best of both worlds. Just need to be smart about your finances to make it happen

Welcome to Canada and Toronto, my hometown! I'm truly enjoying your journey and find it fascinating. However, I want to let you know that the information about Toronto’s population being 90% South Asian is completely inaccurate (unless you were being sarcastic 😂). The population breakdown is approximately 50% white, 13% East Asian, 12.5% South Asian, and 8.5% Black. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! Take care and stay safe!😊
@jillyf
@jillyf 3 сағат бұрын
Yep...just over half of Toronto's population is a visible minority, and with East Asians and South Asians make up about the same percentage of the visible minority as @evyd222 says, South Asians aren't even 90% of the visible minority. But South Asians are well represented in Toronto and make up about 7% of Canada's population overall.
