@@user-du1eu6rf9r thats because architects get famous for certain things and throughout time some key features christalyzed with mcclean- and in the end architects work for customers who end up comissioning things they saw and liked- but take a look at 9366 Sierra mar pl. was done not too long ago and is a mcclean as well, which lacks most of mccleans key features, or the One- im waiting to see his project on Cordell dr to finish, also his project at 778 sarbonne road will be really nice once done- that being said i too prefer saota because their style is much more variable and their work in general is top notch- by far my favorite architects

Gorgeous home but theres no way it goes for 55 million. There are a lot of other homes in that price range that beat this on a multitude of factors- especially land/privacy. Even looking just at LA this house is blown out of the water by the San Onfre and Sarbonne homes which are within the same relative price range
