Unbelievable! With the exception of the engine and trans, I had virtually the same car. Even down to the Ted Nugent 8 track. I wish I never sold it, but at the time I needed the money for the baby that was conceived in the backseat one snowy night.

Why in gods name would anyone have a olds 442 with a trash cowl hood and not a 442 ram air hood is a mystery to me. This is one of the most legendary classic muscle car hoods ever. But you go with the most used on everything trash cowl hood. Thats like changing out the statue of liberty"s torch with a flashlight. Or maybe painting a smile on the Mona Lisa and putting it in a cheap frame.

Repro tick tock tack. 72 would have the seatbelt warning light on the top of the dash. My repro tach ticks as well.

Actually, it does get better than this, but it is a beautiful car. I had a 70 "W Machine" which is what the true Hurst Olds was referred to as, by engineers at GM which had 370hp and 500 lb ft of torque which was underrated just as Ford, Dodge...was. The vinyl top, no fin, no glass hood/working air breather, no red inner fender wells, and not being a 70...it does get better, but like I said, it is a very nice car.

This car never had A/C, but you can put vintage air in any old car.

Bryan Ball rewatch the vid. It did come with a/c. He says it was removed. Probably when they put the new motor in. You can see it when he shows the dash.

@@raysmith4208 sorry Ray, this Cutlass S never had the option for A/C. The 442 was an option for this year car. The L75 was a 455, due to the low vacuum at idle a/c is not an option. I'd like to see the VIN to get the real story on this car. Just a lot of little things don't add up.

That's not the original hood. He also stated it had a huge trans then not but 30 seconds later he called it the original trans. This guy knows nothing about a car, that's obvious.
