Aaaaaand now I’m crying. We started watching The Potter’s house series shortly after we lost our home. It was so cool that we were able to watch you transform Mary’s old run down house into a beautiful home. We recently purchased a home after 4 years of not having a traditional house and have just started working on fixing it up to make it our home. Hopefully someday soon others will get to see our diamond in the rough polished up to her former glory too. May God continue to bless you and your family!!

This house brought a lot to your life. Who could have anticipated that the decision you and Melissa made to take a gamble and buy it all would lead to such an adventure. You made so many great friends, found treasures, connected with Mary at the end of her life (just in time to get to know her), many auctions. There was also a lot of stress and toll on your health in the cleaning and recleaning after the unfortunate rental issues. But now, it leaves you in the same season it entered allowing you to find the final amount required to pay off the new house.

A touching ending to an event-filled story. I have loved each and every episode. For some reason this brings to mind Hans’ story, which is a close second in favorites. Remember when you asked us all to chip in and pay Hans’ heating bill when he lived in a trailer with no heat? Instead of getting the $500 he needed for the bill, we managed to collect about $40,000! You had to shut down the account! So, since we couldn’t send more money, we just started sending stuff to Hans! Truly, the power of a loving community at work. You folks who have not seen that series, go look for it. It’s another great one.

More ups then downs as it made friends around the world 🌎. Your kindness made a New Father's Knows Best series as so many of us started watching you with this house. I'm painting the inside of the van I plan to adventure in coming up this year, and I used sticks from the yard to stir my paint. It worked just fine. Editing to add that there is no doubt in my mind that you saved that property. I don't think anyone else could have done a more magnificent job. You are an amazing human for breathing life back into a property that can now be part of a new family's history.
