Everything they do is so greedy, disconnected, and corporate. Their one strength is their popularity, drawing in editors to keep their wikis more up-to-date. Hollow player-like NPCs tend to not use estus, even if the can in other instances. Non player-like NPCs: • Hollow Clerics • Hollow Soldiers (Not archers(?)) Probably some knights but idk. Wikidot usually has the most accurate information. Wikia isn't good or bad at anything, but usually has whatever information is missing from the other two. Fextralife has a lot of quality of life stuff but is the one most often caught with its pants down, with misinformation that was debunked week 1 of the game's release still being present on certain pages, and a lot of similar blunders or misinformation. My current pet peeves are the Dagger pages on Wikia. It's technically correct on its motion values (the damage multipliers of individual strikes of a weapon), but it INCLUDES the weapon's critical modifier, without telling you that it did that (or acknowledging that the critical modifier is technically, although not functionally, different than what they did).

Still, I think that Fextra is the best wiki when you want to get information about weapons and questlines, but never use it to get information for the rest of the game lmao

somehow i knew in my guts this video would end with checking the wikidot wiki, so i went and did so myself in advance. i just didn't think i would be only technically correct... (wikidot is still the best wiki for ds1 tho)

Prefer wikidot myself since 2012. Has a lot less ads too. Gets straight to the point. Fextra wins the comment section in toxicity.

Fextralife has always been shit for actual information. Not just for Dark Souls but for Monster Hunter as well.

googling a dark souls question and getting a fextra and fandom wiki as the first two results is like finding two messages on a cliff drop that say "jumping required" and "death ahead"

I thought we went over this already old man? I think Zullie did one explanation. If I recall correctly you did one already o.O aswell. Am I having a déjà vu?

0:45 did you fucking mod Vergil's "have you decided... which one of you will die first?" taunt into the game haha

The souls series are so convoluted that even the wikis can't agree on everything. It's hilarious how fextralife is completely wrong most of the time yet is the wiki i use the most.

Sometimes I use fextra to check for a location on something. I was sure there was no way they'd get something that obvious wrong. And then I get assaulted by the worst fucking directions ever (or a complete lack of) and a link to a 30 minute playthrough video by them. It's Fandom/wkidot or 7 year old internet threads, nothing else is adequate.

What's that? Restore your community? Well, there are a few ways to go about it. You can go to wikidot and submit an edit. Or, the quickest way, though I'd never do it myself, is to invade fextralife, and pillage its content.

I have a softspot for wikidot😟, that was the one that helped me when i first got into the souls series years ago😔 back in demons souls on the PS3 😌

Hmm, considering how Old Man hasn't made a miracle build yet, I can only conclude that the reason is because miracles don't exist.

Hey Limit. I was wondering if there's a limit to how much resurrective power you can gain in sekiro? Since walking away from any boss or enemy with two nodes resets their health, you can just stealth deathblow the current mini-boss for instant ressurective power. Can this be repeated infinitely, say between the mist ghosts of mibu damaging you and the mist noble healing you via deathblow? If not which one would get weird, the boss's nodes, or sekiro's? WHose noDEs
