The part of his story where he didn't believe that his partner was still alive until he received the response they created, made me really emotional. Im glad they both survived.

G, you don’t know me, but my wife and I are close friends with your cousin Fugi (we worked together). In fact, we treat he and his son like family. He sent me this link and we just finished listening to your incredible story. We can’t even imagine the things you’ve been through. I will say, however, we shared a similar upbringing and the stories about the food we grew up with were spot on. I wish you the best and thank you for sharing your story. I hope to meet you one day.

I know I'm just a random dude on the internet but thank you so much for sharing your story. I cant imagine what you been through and how you were feeling. Seeing your buddies ex wife at the funeral knowing she was the reason he killed himself is unimaginable. Seeing you running in the marathon gave me so much inspiration. I'm enlisting next week at 29. I refuse to take life for granted anymore. Whenever I am going through a dark period in my life like i have been recently, i will remember your story. There are no excuses. Thank you very much.

Respect. Unfortunately, I could not make it to assist in the GWOT as I joined way too late (2019). I feel bad for not being able to help out. Hats off to everyone who went through it.

Does Urban Valor only interview veterans from California or something? I mean I know a shit ton of a veteran's wounded and non wounded that served in the Middle East here in East Tennessee.

As far as I'm aware, this is simply a youtube channel run by a veteran - not like a production of the history channel or something. His format is in-person interviews. Not all of his interviews are Cali guys but it's not like he can travel the country regularly, or buy everyone a plane ticket. Unless this channel REALLY takes off and makes him a lot of money, it's probably gonna continue to be mostly Cali vets. I think he said elsewhere that he does have some plans for the future but I don't remember what, specifically, he said

People fly in to sit with me all the time. There’s plenty of interviews on here from vets out of state. It’s California heavy because I’m located in Costa Mesa, CA.

I’m not talking about this interview but your fact checking stinks. Are just taking their stories as truth? Just like that fake special warfare homeless piece of crap? It would take you just 5 minutes to fact check things he said that happened . Lost complete respect for this channel.
