Rabi'a was a great woman and Muslim, a true wali/saint. It's too bad some details of her life were lost to history and rumors but we know for sure she existed and we know at least some details of her life that are almost certainly confirmed.

I wish I could be like her, but I know I can't. I'm very curious about and very interested in Sufism and the spiritual side of Islam.
@fire.smok32 жыл бұрын
@@ranazaman6121 don't compare yourself to anyone else, anyone can be a beloved servant to God, it all just starts with sincerity and humility. If you're interested in Sufism maybe you can start with looking into al-Ghazali, he was a widely respected Muslim and a true Sufi who taught how to become closer to God and how to cultivate our character. Just be careful to stay away from some of the weirder deviant types of Sufis. If you would like links to nice videos or articles about tasawuf I'd be happy to share :)

Rabiyah Bassiryah RA is indeed a great role model for us to emulate. I do take her as a Murshid, a teacher & a guide. Loving Allah for the sake of Allah is what we need to practice. It's a daunting task, that needs to done slowly and steadily, with fortitude. Ya Allah Guide us and help us love you as you like to be loved. Aameen.

You are all aware that there are only a number of days remaining prior to the start of this blessed month. Then it will appear with its prevalent good, noble merits, and successive blessings. The month of Ramadhaan is shortly approaching and its arrival is very important to all Muslims. It is something endeared to them. Because they yearn for its coming and they anticipate its arrival. They rejoice when it is close and give each other glad tidings when it actually arrives, due to what they know about this great blessed month from the amazing and unique qualities, which are specific to this month, which distinguishes it from the other months of the year. Whosoever Allaah - The Mighty and Majestic honours. And their appointed time is prolonged and their lifespan is extended to reach and meet this month. Then it is a great blessing for the servant to participate with the people of Islaam and to harvest the fruits of this great season. This season of obedience, faith and devotion to the Most Merciful.

Fear, hope & love for Allah are all needed in a true worship, worshipping with only fear is blasphemous likewise extreme love without fear and hope will lead to misguided thoughts 💭. Almighty Allah should be worshipped with the greatest fear, love and hope because of His perfect Divine attributes of beauty, knowledge, wisdom, goodness and power.

1 - Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] 2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071] 3

Is it not contradictory as once she said she doesn't pray for jannah. Love should be only for Allah. But for marriage why does she want to know about the jannah grave etc. I think she was just a good worshiper of Allah. All other things are exaggerated by the people.

Do some research bro ....some scholars of salaf don't agree with her ideas..👍👍
@hamdiyazid200 Жыл бұрын
Wait I am very confused can you clarify a bit: Are we supposed to be like her? Was the companions and the Prophet like this? Was her idea an innovation? The scholars who disagreed with her were they a lot or a little? I'm not saying this cause I dislike her rather I am doubtful
