Solid roller lifters on a Hydraulic roller cam sound clip cold and warm - Are they noisy?

Through my headphones everything sounds great! Can’t hear any excess noise.

@@ogsuperflygarage thanks, yeah I think it sounds ok, definitely less rocker noise than when I had it set at .004 and .006 cold.

Hey VRM, the solids set at zero? I never heard of that. Seems like aound .010 is about the norm. Look like the vaccuum was more stable. I did a 363 and the Morel racing hydraulic rollers were very noisy. I did a 431 Ford stroker with the standard Morels and it is quiet. Both set at 1/2 turn. Thanks for sharing. 👍🇺🇸👍

@@edsmachine93 yes, solids are at zero cold, iron block and aluminum heads so once it warms up and expands it has some lash. i tried .004 and .006 cold and it was more noisy, did some more research and read that people were having success with 0 cold running solid rollers on a hydraulic roller cam with aluminum heads and iron block expansion rate.
