Solid tine aeration

I could watch that machine go around all day. When you put the Solid tines in you don't need to use the Jam Nut? Can you get extra depth using Solid or Hollow tines if you don't screw them in all the way and use the Jam nut to lock them so to get an extra 10mm or so of depth?

Fair play for spotting the Nut - I didn’t swap it on to the solid times for this area of lawn, as I was swapping them back over straight after. The nut does allow you to alter the depth 👍 Thank you for watching

😀 Cool. Having our own aerator has been a game changer - No more booking a machine from the hire centre, only to have it pour with rain the whole time you have it. Also being able to pop out with the solid tines after a busy wedding has made a big difference 😀

I hate solid tines with a passion, but that does look nice. Our local premier Park uses 300mm long solid tines during festivals to allow drainage where people walk and would normally bring up sub soil water to the surface and create pugging.

The solid times are so useful for working on the lawns after a big wedding. The lawns get at least one hollow core treatment every year as well 👍
