🏆😎👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I just now watched this special for probably the hundredth time. Harland Williams is truly one of a kind. He is so unique, so talented, and hugely respected by tons of comedians. What really bothers me is at the end when the crowd doesn’t give him a standing ovation. He deserved a thunderous round of applause. Sometimes people just don’t know that this is a thing. I mean, his crowd work was outstanding. He sang throughout the show. He has impeccable timing. His ability to transition with ease and carry an entire show to completion without a single lull shows that he has an exceptional amount of skill. He even threw in a, “Come on now!” (Won’t cha now!) The way he gets down on one knee when he addresses someone. His adoring terms of endearment that he uses with audience members. He is stunningly handsome. Harland I have adored you from day one my friend and Harland, This one’s for you.. 🎤 👨🏼 🏆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

If you're still on KZbin maybe you'll get a notification since this stand up is so old. I just discovered him last night October 2022. He was on the Gutfeld show. Never heard of him, but the more I'm watching I have seen him, I think he may have even had Parts in movies. I've watched stand up my entire life, premium channels, Netflix since it was invented. To my knowledge he's never been given a 1 hour standoff with Showtime HBO or Netflix. I'll search later. In today's woke world, I just watched something recent. Very funny guy. He gave the best explanation of still joking about gays Etc. He said I tell people I'm not making fun of minorities I'm making them inclusive. More people need to realize, if the topic is popular enough for a comedian to joke about it. Then their part of everyday America. Most people don't realize, comedians have a very high IQ. They also must keep up on current events in order to last in the industry. Since he did this stand up, the USA has changed so much. It's gone so crazy, drag queens performing in schools. Sorry that's a step too far. It's not worth a joke because it's absolutely insane. Perhaps that is the joke, the insanity of drag queens performing for grade school students.

Absolutely hilarious! The final six minutes alone are gold. This is why small, intimate venues are still very important for comedy.
@infernalsorcery79236 ай бұрын
Sure but demand and supply. Comedy shows for example who know they can sell 500,000 seats out, aren't always gonna eat the unrealized loss and limit it to a 100,000 seats instead (numbers are mainly just an example, scale up or down for the same point really). They'd be potentially losing out on 400,000 ticket sales, just to create a bit more intimate of a venue. Capitalism has done this to entertainment. Started golden in the early 2000s, then people profitmax and cut corners to inflate bottom dollars.
