Another great video relaxing and doing what you enjoy. Sad to hear about the other camp site. Some people have no respect what others have created. Hopefully the new camp site will be left alone. So much hard work and time was spent creating a great place. Look forward to more of your videos. Keep up the great job.

I love how we all go from making birds nests to start fire then evolve to just starting a fire, I just kick loose stuff from the ground to start fire now. And no fancy staking more just piling forest litter from the forest floor. I dont see much moss growing on trees etc. Oh wait you got moss on top wood store. We have this light green moss that grows on tree branches that usually stays dry even in rain. It lights like jute fibre. It kinda hangs from tree branches like a clump of hair or sort of bird nests.

Hey Becky! Just noticed your campfire rainbow trout video has 277,000 views! So happy for you, the new setup us looking mighty cute! Just a idea for you...I just saw a video where a fella made a bushcraft candle holder out of a tall, thick piece of bark and stuff and the bark was in the shape of a half moon that was stood vertical and placed so the bark offered as a Windbreaker for the flame.

just watched Bushwacker man's video from the same camp, the new Bushwacker Hilton Resort, It has already begun to become a good camp. The hand drill is quite difficult, has even tried without result, so one on YT where succeeds, but there has to be some practice to make it work. Your title starts with "Solo" from my English should that mean alone, and who is there to control the food Buster, alone with Buster Aha.. just teasing a little.. Clay air dry first and then you burn it, yes we did that when I went to school as far as I remember and that's more than two days ago. A nice three day camp out with super weather, nice.

Just watching it again. Want to make some kitchen tools my self, looking for more good tips. I got the flint and steal had fun with that. I have tried making char cloth but so brittle it does not come out like cloth. Do you make your own char cloth? DIY? Edit... I seen somebody put thumb hoops on a cord attaching the thumb hoops together and wrap around the top of the spindle and it caused the spindle to rotate much higher speeds. It was all made of leather but still trying to find out more with this addition. I only seen the boy use it not how he used it so trying to work that out.

Why do 'wasters' have to vandalize the work of others? Still, the new camp has some neat features. Thanks for an honest approach to learning camp skills. I would not have been able to use so large a knife for woodcarving. I am not naturally 'handy' but my spoons and spatulas have usually worked out. Good start on potting. I agree that it is important to have activities to do out of doors and in camp.

@@susanbrown2909 mmm yes we do, not for hunting as that's illegal but mrmonkknight didn't say anything about hunting. Even think Becky has a bow, sure she uploaded a video a while back. It's also legal to walk down th street with one and also there is an old law that is still law (and a lot of people break) that says it you have a son you have to legally give him a bow and arrows and if you don't you are breaking that law

Their are lots of videos of people practicing archery it is a practise that goes way back in your history as well. Give it a try, but it takes dedication concentration and one to clear the mind of all negativity and relax the mind, also another great opportunity to get into the wilderness. Good luck with your journey no judgment from my side all the best casting light even from dark places. your intention was not executed perfectly but I think we all understand what you where trying to say. Also it's not manly we have a lot of ladies that do this sport, I would not dare have the audacity to assume women could not operate a bow and exclude their ability. Cheers lots of love Richard

Hey Becky. Too bad about the other campsite. You all put a lot of work into that camp. No explaining why people do the things they do. Keep your spirits up and build a better camp in your new location. Need to work on your pancake skills though. Not a pretty site.
