Nice video man, I was a bit shocked when I saw your Ontigris chair, are those guys still in business? they came out of the gate HOT but sort of went quiet when Pomoly came around. It's still a good chair. They seem to be more focused on animal stuff. Yes the MRE was great. A lot better then some of the ones I was forced to eat back in the day. lol. Good stuff. Hope the family vacation was really nice, and glad you were also able to get out for an overnighter in the forest. You had a hot summer?... check out the multiple heat records Phoenix recorded this year (just search "phoenix az heat records 2024" and try not to melt lol). How was the MRE overall for taste/nutrition/value? If I have any brand, I like Mountain House's Biscuits & Gravy, served with scrambled eggs on the side for breakfast. I can't imagine what it's like down in Phoenix. I don't think I could ever camp there. lol. The MRE was over all great. The taste was great and I think it has everything you need for a great backup food source. I'm hoping this year the snow coming before to long. Last year it was late December which is very late for us.

@@JoshuaGammon The desert gets cold in the winter, that's why I go camping often in Quartzsite from November through March. The summers in the desert are just brutal, we're even starting to look for land up north so we can get out of the heat during the summer months. Good deal about the MRE, I'll have to look for that brand and give it a try. Hope the snow comes sooner than later so you get an extended winter camping season.
