I know this video is old but I’m thinking about going on a solo date to the movies. I recently lost my mother and my therapist suggested that I find myself again. so I decided I think I’m gonna go to the movies by myself. you made this look so enjoyable.

I am in my 60's and see 200 films a year IN THEATER! I like going alone so I can see what I want to see, WHEN I want to see and I can sit super close as I love that film experience. The few times I go with someone is with my daughter and she is okay with my movie going habits. If I ever go with someone it feels odd. I always say- "When you read a book do you need someone next to you????"

I love going to the dollar store to get snacks before a movie! Yesss ❤️ When you said you were glad you went early bc there were too many people at the movies once you got back to your car, that was so relatable. lol Ever since this pandemic hit, my anxiety has been through the roof whenever there's a lot of people in one place at one time!! Everybody be on edge, some people be SICK & there's just a lot of crazy folks everywhere!
