Solo Flawless Zero Hour Exotic Mission (First Completion / New Version) [Destiny 2]

Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Solo Flawless Zero Hour Exotic Mission & Outbreak Perfected Exotic Pattern Reward / Solo Flawless Revamped Zero Hour Exotic Mission / Triumphant Outbreak, Nimble Zero Hour, Flawless Zero Hour & Zero Help triumphs. Just a quick video showing my first completion of the updated Zero Hour exotic mission, that returned with Into the Light today.
My first full playthrough of the updated Zero Hour mission. I did one run up to the boss fight and had wipes due to needing to figure out the burning puzzle, and this was the following run. I went with Hunter this time around to mix it up a little bit, although the same loadout on all 3 classes will probably work just as well. This is just for the first runs to show a simple way to get it done without much issue, so obviously there will be much faster ways to do it.
The changes to the boss are neat, unexpected for it to come back as a Brig in the final phase. The rest of the area is more or less the same, other than some extra enemies during the traversal sections. The pathing for Trevor is the same as always, so the old method to avoid it works quite well. No idea why I didn't get the solo flawess triumph either... but it somehow got the flawless zero hour triumph in the same run. Might be bugged for now or something.
I'll do the same approach as I did for The Whisper release. I'll do a legend clear next, followed by any collectibles and secrets the mission may contain. After that I'll do the Archie location quest. Tomorrow I'll have a Pantheon clear up most likely.

Zero Hour is bugged by the way. The enemies are the exact same lightlevel in legend. Normal Zero Hour also does not state that the enemies are a few light levels above you. Sooo you basically just solod Legend Zero Hour lmao

As someone who only just completed normal zero hour, it is bugged; only legend level enemies spawn, confirmed it with a friend who was 1819 boosted light and they were double swords, while mine were single swords.

I hate that the enemies in the final boss room don't despawn when the boss dies. For every other exotic mission in the game, killing the final boss ends the mission, so this is infuriating.

This quest is bugged for anybody trying to do solo flawless. Not only is there an instant kill bug, but if you manage to survive like he did, you still don’t get the solo flawless triumph as proof in his video. You can see him get hit by the random bug at 15:49 and no, it’s not the missiles that the boss fires.

I will gladly admit I suck at the game but the enemies are hitting like if they were a gm or something. I tried banner of war and at x4 with 100 resilience and triple arc resistance they still chewed through it like nothing and idk if the enemies power is higher on normal but I was 1830. I made it to the final boss but in his brig form sometimes I would immediately die to the beacons not even the missile just the beacon fire. And not like oh I burned out, no I legit just fall over sometimes

Legend as a different path. Most areas are the same, but legend makes you go a different way. The grade is only open on normal unless they changed it from the original.

Damn Eso is so good. My team kept dying at the Brig and snipers. I had to use riskrunner, arc resist + 2x sniper resist and a blinding nade launcher for a normal exotic mission. They seem to hit way too hard for a normal mission. Basically I blind the mobs, or take a few the arc hits then i blind the mobs in return while the team stay back to kill them with Thunderlord and Polaris. Edit: 15:49 I was right, that hits way too hard for a normal reason.

An artifact mod makes targets burn with Scorch if you use Solar weapons while Radiant, and his Fixed Odds has Incandescent which spreads Scorch around the target you just killed. Most likely this pushes the Scorch stacks over 100 on one enemy, causing an Ignition.

Seriously though, this weapon drops only by killing the last boss in the Duality dungeon, and it's hard work to get even one weapon roll. Try other solar machine guns in your inventory that are 360 rate of fire, run solar and select the artifacts for scorch. The ones from Iron Banner should work.

Eso is just built different, plus, way back in the day, the default timer on this was 20 minutes.
