a good lagging method is to conenct ur console to ur phone/pc hotspot. 0:44 is where u turn off the wifi/data of the device thats hosting the hotspot. Then at 1:03 u can just turn off ur hotspot on the device.

After getting wasted screen and the beach bum in story mode, I can't go back to online mode as when ever try to go online, it says " you must be signed in on psn to access online" It signs me out when I do the glitch.

i keep getting an error when i try quitting to story mode after lagging my wifi “files required to play gta online could not be downloaded from the rockstar games services” Not only that but when I pause the wifi for my ps5 from the xfinity app I have like less than 15 secs before it kicks me out, makes it impossible to buy cars and quit to story in time so it won’t give me the Error message but only problem now is I wasted all my money trying to do the glitch now I can’t buy shit lmao

Theoretically, you could do the “pull ethernet” step by disconnecting from a mobile hotspot (iOS or Android) but I haven’t tried that yet. On PS4, you can double tap the PS to shortcut to the Connect to Internet square and I’m pretty sure that works too. Not sure about XB1/XBX

Yeah so uhm check this out I did the glitch but the ring didn't keep going when I was buying like crazy so it stopped and didn't keep ringing so when I try to do the glitch 3 more times it deleted all my cars

So it still works, but i was only able to do it the first 2 times and now the cars wont be delivered at all, i still get them, but the delivery wont let me keep them or spawn em, any fix?

Have to make sure you’re pressing the back button beforehand to initiate the interaction menu (you won’t be able to see it)

@@stevoid yeah, just give it a few seconds after “wasted”, once the screens black and you see the white circle spinning in the bottom right, should be good. You’ll be able to hear the interaction menu open, just can’t see it.

@@stevoid yeah that definitely sounds like your lag method isn’t working. I have an Orbi router, and I’m able to pause the connection on any device on my network, including hardwired ones such as my Xbox. So I pause it for the lag, and then disconnect the actual Ethernet when I’m backing out to story mode. If you have a NETGEAR router, it should have the same abilities as the Orbi app.

Ethernet would be easier for quickly reconnecting. If you cannot plug into Ethernet to a modem, if you have a laptop with an Ethernet port, you can do a bridged connection to your console. You'd connect your laptop to the hotspot or router, set up a bridged connection on the laptop, disconnect the console from the hotspot and plug the console into your laptop to get the connection from there. You'll now be getting your Internet from the laptop via the Ethernet cable, allowing you to disconnect quickly and plug back in. I've had to do work arounds like this when I Iived at home. This was a method I used to get IPs to kick players in my lobbies forcefully and lag switch old cod lobbies lol
