Polaris will get old (I read your description) but at least we aren’t stuck with some underpowered artifact with boring buffs for this super long season. I do wish Bungie had made a ‘mega-artifact’ this season so that every subclass could feel some love. Of course it would need to be disabled in pvp but that has always been the case regardless of what the artifact contains. Have you tried thread of isolation instead of transmutation? You still get the tangles on kills because of sever but it doesn’t require you to have woven mail and can have more utility against bosses/champs/etc. It’s not great in lower light content where everything falls over but when enemies can eat some shots it feels pretty good. Great vid, love the content.

Yeah, I wish all the elements got some equally powerful artifact options, it would have added so much needed variety in such a long season. An interesting idea regarding thread of isolation, thanks! I will definitely give it a shot sometime. Woven Mail is hard to pass on though, it's a lifesaver.

@@KeerPlays I would still totally run cyrtarachnes, woven mail is crazy. Severing the enemy just makes it crazier. I guess you are losing 10 strength by running isolation but I think it could be worth. I liked it when I tried it but I would need to test more for consistency purposes.

What is the key to getting the cheese spot in “Defend the Ghost” to work. You’re obviously not crouched. I’ve seen other vids saying you have to be crouched. Is it just that you can’t move your feet or spam crouch once the encounter starts?

You have to get into one spot, never move, never use class abilities, never use Supers (at least those I tried), never look around much and never ever crouch. It's rather hard to explain the exact spot you need to be in, but it's the closest spot to the Ghost as seen in the video. When you get there, you are kinda leaning out both when you ADS or not ADS, and you have a clear view of everything. Hope this helps!

By the time you look down, shoot a grapple and require a target. It's about the same time to reload normally. Thread of ascent really feels like a wasted aspect.

Grapple is used mainly to get Woven Mail, Thread of Ascent is just a nice bonus, which mostly helps with reloading the machine gun.
