If you want the bit you were confused on explained, minor spoilers ahead but its simple when explained and sometimes the explanation is the hook, there are these gateways to pocket dimensions called dungeons, people go into those dungeons to clear them. If a dungeon and the boss monster inside isn’t cleared in 7 days it breaks and the monsters can come out of the gateway. They appear randomly, they can be in the middle of the street or in the forest or in a building or anything. So what he meant during that bit you were confused on, there was that rule that they needed to clear the dungeon which is true for all dungeons. But there was also the fact this dungeon had unique rules. (like a lot of but not all dungeons)

The Manhwa (Korean Manga) to this is such a beautifully illustrated masterpiece. Trust me, they are about to go off with this anime. You will not be disappointed with watching this. The first few episodes are going to have a lot of explanations. But give it a few months, and everyone is going to go nuts over this show. Peace be with you, hombre!

@@davidmcdaniel297 nah bro for example episode 1 and 4 showed amazjng fights and then you got episode 3 with amazing world building and explanations and episode 2 as we know is maybe the best one if we're tlaking about twists and overall quality. For me episode 4 is my favorite but knowing whats next, episode 4 or 5 might become my favorite instead and this cycle keeps repeating itself.

@humanoidfrog4645 I do understand that. And the episodes have indeed been quite spectacular. But if you read the Manhwa, there are a few chapters with introductions to characters that will have little substance other than being fodder. Even in some of the cases with the S Rank Hunters, it has some of them trying to act hard. And then a few chapters later, they will be absolutely bodied by some of the creatures Sung Jinwoo is going to completely slaughter and add to his army. The exposition will be slightly winded, but that is not to say that the chapters converted to episodes aren't going to be fire. And the episodes are most likely going to have some of these chapters animated with a bit more edge to them. Just a prediction.

The story in the novel was also way better which the manwha kinda butchered while the anime is true to the source material aka the light novel. For example, in episode 3 when he woke up we saw the b rank assassin from the hunters association he wil beat before the job change so that is proof enough the show is adding extra stuff to make the characters more likable and make the story connected.

Yeah, Solo leveling is a bit of a slow burn, and the early episodes look like they be giving us a lot of information that will be relevant much later on in the series, but once it picks up it goes absolutely crazy. Would highly recommend watching or reading it

They actually kinda explain the healing thing in the manhwa essentially it’s theorised that the people who got powers are the ones who are strong and would be able to fight and survive the future hell coming but personality effects what abilities people get to an extent it’s never stated how far this goes just insinuated so nice people who wouldn’t like to fight but still had strength to survive got given the ability to heal

Yo first ever comment from me here even tho i watched your videos for the last 3-4 years! Dungeon are like a gateway/pocket dimension into some other wold and if the dungeon is not cleared (everything defeated) within 7 days those monster can invade the earth. And the ranks of hunters go from e to S or SSs doesnt matter but there exist those normal people with no powers and with those monsters invading earth would turn into a battlefield where nobody is safe. That dungeon right there is special since it is a double dungeon (a dungeon hidden in another one) and those rules with worship god etc are only for that one since it is quite special, i do think you are gonna like solo leveling the first 2 episodes will be really confusing but from episode 3-5 the confusen should be lifted. I read the light novel and manhwa of it, as someone who both read and watched jujutsu kaisen and solo leveling, i recommend you giving it a go. Also i know you dont want to but could you react to Goku vs Superman RAP BATTLE! from SSJ9K, ive been watching your other reactions to him but i think the bars about their wifes etc are getting less in that one i saw like 2 bars and a half about that. Other then that i just wanted to say that the content you made in the past few years has been great and i support you, keep doing what you are doing now!

in thescond episode of solo Leveling the voice actor coughed up blood because of of how hard he vas going so if you don't know the events of what's happening in Soul Leveling basically without spoiling anything dude has to scream because he's ge getting his body cut up and destroyed but l just can't imagine going so hard that you're just spitting up blood at episode two you have like 10 more episodes to go but that just shows how hard some of the Japanese voice actors go and their voice acting like compared to most other like dubs l rarely see anyone screaming like they do in Japanese anime l've yet to post episode 2 review yet but so far from when l saw an episode 1 he was pretty solid what I'm curious about is how his voice is going to change along with the appearance of the main character in Soul Leveling um once he gets the glow up you know l'm talking about it's kinda like Ern Yeager when he goes from you know Season 1 and Season 2 and Season 3 to like Season 4 like that transformation and then we'll also see how the voice actor says the word arise

here are my thoughts on Solo Leveling Episode 2 as a manga and webtoon producer you know when l manga l was thinking this is a really strong start to a webtoon series and l still think that for the anime but part of me thinks that the first and second episode should have been combined into a pilot it might have been better for the momentum and the pacing just to have the entire of Sunjin woo's backstory just in one instead of expensive 2 looking at just episode 2 l was surprised at how freaking violent this was l thought it was gonna be censored but it was actually pretty brutal to watch some of these people go down think that the anime opening by Hiro Yukisawano is a 7 out of 10 and actually what brings the rating of it up is the animation the animation looks like a 10 out of 10 l think Hiroyuki Sawano . um while l'm a super fan of of his like he's one of my favorite composers l think he didn't do his best work on this opening and in soul leveling so far from what l've seen but talking about the good things uh the animation for this episode was pretty good
