I have so many interests and hobbies that living alone has never been a problem, but I could never be without a dog. A good dog gives so much friendship and loyalty and gives me a sense of purpose in life. Also having a dog makes me feel part of a community when out walking as fellow dog walkers always seem happy to stop and chat.

I would love to have a dog or a cat but as I'm not sure what my future is going to be I can't get a pet until I'm a little more stable, it wouldn't be fair on them

Watching your videos is just like you calling in to see us. You greet us so cheerfully, and always have things of interest to say. I have had an allotment garden for over 40 years, and also enjoy the solitude that can bring me. Spring will soon be with us, folks are getting vaccinated against the covid19 virus, hopefully things are looking up for all of us.

I live full time in a 'Park Home' which is a nice way of saying a caravan ! it sits next to the River Avon in the English Cotswolds, so I can watch all you 'boaters' sailing past ! I can't believe a stunningly attractive woman like you does not have a partner/boyfriend/girlfriend, presumably your living with no intimacy, and must be happy with that. I do enjoy your vlogs, interests etc and hope life is great for you. 😘

Wow I can’t believe in France toilet waste goes straight into the canal, that would be a strictly big no in U.K.! I’m glad I’ve found your vlog and I’m looking forward to watching more from you. X

Buy some books. 1) There is nothing quite like the physical aspect of a book, you have to hold it, interact with it (turn the page), you have the story there in your hands and the mind absorbs it far easier and better. 2) When you put the book down it is sat there calling every time you see it, or at least a good book does. And 2) Even a poor book helps make a good decoration even just laid on a table. Jigsaws, or if you like painting look up Barge Ware (images) those can sell well too,

Enjoy seeing your life moments. I too love to create and have recently retired. I have a teenager son and live in California. My passion most recently is crocheting, but I love to sew also. I love your vlogs and visions. Keep up your creativity, you are an inspiration to me.

I have lived on my own from time to time over my adult life and I also work from home so I understand only too well how isolating it can be. For myself I find it not too hard being alone because I too like my own company and being an introvert I like the downtime to recharge my batteries as I find being social very tiring. However I am not an island and I have found over the years that joining a group or class can be a nice way of interacting with others who share your interests or hobbies. Also I have always had a pet, pets are great for people living on their own if they are able to care for them and have them where they live. ♥️

Great episode, and some pretty sound advice to be honest. If I was a liveaboard nearby and heard a distress call (don't care who it was) I'd be up in a flash to assist. I was however, disappointed we didn't see your pizza (We want to see it again...quiet lol) or painting. You've got a good head on your shoulders young lady and I was quite surprised to learn that you can flush your black/grey water right where you are....I'm from Australia and that is definitely illegal although I'm sure due to lockdowns there's been some allowances but bloody heck that's just wrong, especially if your neighbour has a water maker hahaha.

Get a night vision motion sensing IP camera, Lizzie. They are quite cheap and you can set them up to alarm you. I would go for a small dome PTZ one.

I`m having a wide beam built as I type, I live on my own in a flat for now but will be on the Thames rivers in March, can`t wait thank you for your great advice. I`ll keep myself entertained by playing my drums and bass guitar as well as listening to music... 💙👊😎

Enjoying your vlogs. I noticed your watercolour on the floor of your boat, obviously your somewhat accomplished. It would be nice to see some of your work. Do you sell or intend to sell them? One minor critique when your filming freehand, slow down a little when your panning, it can make one feel a little dizzy 🙂. Keep them coming.

Yes, sorry about that I noticed that too when I was editing! No no I just paint for myself, I share a few pictures here and there on my Instagram but that's about it :)

hi Lizzy , yes married but me a retired nurse my husband a retired police officer we crossed on the door step and lonely no , iits like others maybe seeing each other once a week which was our life for a very long time , so yes i feel we all can amuse ourselves , but i think human waste is not that bad , i much prefer to go out cruising instead of worries about human waste which is the most normal thing in life , and should not even cross your mind really . yes be aware of surroundings its always been our life , as i working in a busy city , and yes just be aware . yes i needed to extend my knowledge being a registered nurse , i need to do a research paper each year ontop of your normal working hours , so yes kelp me busy as i worked in an intensive care unit for brain injuries , so yes many extra hours spent at work ! but we do have siamese cats and have had always sadly no children , . from coming home from honeymoon which is many years now ! yes would love to see your beautiful area ,sounds idyllic ! be very careful Lizzy love your videos, see you next week but liz from the uk where we are all back in lockdown and will remains so for quite a while i suspect . had my vaccine a few days ago so not feeling my best , a very sore arm , but its fine , better than contracting coronavirus ,

Why not try meditation? 10min per day is a good start (even if 20 min a day 5 days a week for 6 weeks is already having an effect on the brain and allows you to better manage your emotions, your concentration..). You can also try yoga with the Yoga With Adriene channel which is great!
