In 2021 Moa performed GJ and Onedari Daisakusen, which is another of the four songs performed by Black Babymetal (Moa and Yui as a duo). The others two songs are Sis Anger and 4 song. Su metal has her solo songs, too: Rondo of Nightmare, Akatsuki, Amore and No Rain, No Rainbow.

💕 / 🚇 👍 According to Yui and Moa, this song is about appreciating all the things that parents do for us, even when it's difficult. Riding the commuter train is compared to a Wall of Death at a metal concert. Going to a busy shop is compared to being in a Mosh Pit. Joodekî! = Good job!, or GJ! Although this was originally a Black BABYMETAL song recorded and performed by Yui and Moa, Moa performed it as a solo song during the 2018 tour. She also performed it with very little advance notice at 'Legend S' in December 2017, when Yui was unable to perform. As you can see here, they brought it back again for two of the ten Budokan concerts in 2021. It was still a Moa solo, but she had four little backup dancers. Two of them (Miko Todaka and Sakia Kimura) are performing these days with METALVERSE. The other two were Miyu Oshima (Ciào Smiles) and Neo Sato (also a former Sakura Gakuin member like Miko and Sakia).

I did not know the meaning of the song nor that two of the girls are now members of metalverse. It's awesome to know that. It's flabbergasting how she could manage having to cover Yui's spot and how brave she is. I saw that permormance from 2017. It had to be terrifying, having to face the whole audience on your own. Without the person that was beside you since a ver young age.

Finally you meet a Black Babymetal song, only thing you're missing YuiMetal in this version but you can find her at Wembley Arena or Tokyo Dome 2016. We were waiting for a new version with MomoMetal at Legend MM or maybe Legend 43 in Okinawa, maybe with the new BM unit "Metalverse" but nothing happened. Three of those dancers are performing here along with MoaMetal for the first time in a BM show, they're called baby-foxes here but now they're part of this new Metalverse now. The beginning clap section of the song is a classic Asian child song, you can hear an example of this in the beginning of The Squid Games series. Black Babymetal said they challenge themselves to rap while leaving a message to make society better, that's why she can speak some bars. In this case they're thanking all parents for doing everyday's job and taking care of them, that's why the analogies of mosh pits with certain situations parents need to faces against the crowd in the streets, like the Metro. Like i said, this was an exclusive version live at Budokan 2021 celebrating their 10 years, same thing with Onedari Daisakusen, and MoaMetal performed some of this BBM songs several times after Yui's withdrawal. If you want to listen the album version check it out another interesting exclusive version called GJ! Reward Version, to see the difference on lyrics, and of course i highly suggest you to check it out a live version with YuiMetal in this subgroup to meet MoiMoi and the kawaii chemistry between both, live at Wembley Arena 2016 or Tokyo Dome 2016 is a must. Next suggestion: - Onedari Daisakusen live at Legend 1997, another BBM song, Gans Tomas got that clip safe to react. I also suggest to leave that suggestion for next July 4th and celebrate MoaMetal's special birthday, either the original along with YuiMetal or as a solo act is fine. I can't pick any above another... although Moa really puts the Kawaii in Momo's Metal growling. Su unites them both and is an incredible singer and frontwoman.. and has grown so much. Yui, unfortunately left before we could see her grow.. which is a shame.. and I can't find anything recent from her, it is like she vanished. I really can't pick favourites. But if you see Su's graduation cerimony, you'll see the cuteness overload from Moa and how much she admires Su... and yeah.. those smiles we all love.. were already there!

Moa, to my understanding, has said that she has no desire to take over as lead vocals. However, should Suzuka ever decide to lead, she could decidedly take over. I mean, she's a great singer (not on Su's level, but, then again, who really is?) and that woman definitely knows how to work the crowd. I would love to hear a solo song from her on their next album (and from Momoko, as well, of course), but I've been wanting that since Yui left, so I don't know if that will ever happen. But I can dream.

Great reaction, thanks! Moa is definitely a hell of a performer. She's considered the ultimate idol and totally knows how to work a crowd. In the last BABYMETAL census, with a sample of over 1200 people, on the question about our favorite member, Moa was on first position with the 35.2% of the votes followed closely by Su with the 34.8%. I'm team Su, but I admit that in my last BABYMETAL show Momoko was the best at crowd interaction. Her evolution over the last year has been incredible. If you want to know about the dynamics with Yui you need to watch a Black BABYMETAL song with the actual Black BABYMETAL on stage. 😅 🤘🦊

Nice, this was a really good version. Moa absolutely crushed it! These songs (Black Babymetal) have been moved out of their rotation mainly due to Yui leaving, but also they catered to a younger Babymetal back in the day. Hence, when they brought this back for Budokan 2021’s 10-year anniversary special, they had Moa teaching 4 little foxes how to do the song. Really cool how they did that! For Onedari Daisaukesen, you should do Legend 1997 version for Kawaii overload. Akatsuki (Budokan 2014) for a Su solo. 🤘🦊

I think we all can have a favorite one. For some it's Su, for others is Momo. Others even will have an eternal preferrence for Yui even when she is not arround anymore. My fav is also Moa. I admire her so much. There are videos of her performing despite of going through pain. Also, I'm very sure she´s the one that had the worst time when Yui left. She had to cover that spot on her own for a good while. This performance in the video is a great example but. For me, one of the first times she performed alone were more impressive as she was completely alone not even with other dancers like in this one. She had to be very brave as she knew there were lots of chances that, either Amuse rather go with Su on her own or create a whole new group

I reckon this and the other Black Babymetal song Moa performed in 2021 for the 10th anniversary shows will remain a one of a kind event - she has said in interviews she has little desire to take a solo role in Babymetal, and I think it might seem awkward to try and replicate them with Momo instead when her and Yui are definitely not the same performers. I guess because the 10th anniversary shows were revisiting a lot of older songs they hadn't performed in years it would have felt wrong to ignore the songs Yui was prominent in just because she wasn't able to perform with them and Moa showed she could do it alone. Well worth looking at the rest of the Black Babymetal songs from the 2014 Budokan shows when Moa and Yui performed in ultra kawaii mode.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。That 3-3-7 beat is widely used for Japanese hand clapping in sport events, festivals and so on. It was invented by a cheering squad of Meiji University in 1922. In 2021, on Day-9 & 10 of 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts, I witnessed this new version of GJ! by grown-up Moa and 4 kid-bone dancers on both days. These evil girls are poking fun at adults. 😡 Their fathers are commuting in congested green trains (notorious Yamanote line in Tokyo) which run in a loop like a huge circle mosh. Mothers go shopping to get merchandise with better quality at lower price in shops, which are also congested like a wall of death. They are laughing at us whereas we, adults, do that all for the kids like them. Can you accept such humiliation against us even if they are cute girls like Moa and her sidekicks ? ... Yes we can 🤣 . I got happily made fun of by their lovable performance, twice.😄

Speaking of something else, Moa has another legendary performance alone, the song is called "Onedari Daisakusen" by Black Babymetal (The duo he did with Yui) LIVE budokan 2021, the performance is completely crazy and shows the great control and confidence that Moa has on stage being she in charge of singing. 😃👍

As much as I love the band, I hate to be that guy and ruin it for you, but any vocals done by Moa, Yui or Momo live (besides MC/crowd interaction) are playback of pre-recorded vocals. With the kind of mic they use and how intense their dancing is, you'd be able to hear their breathing and the vocal performances wouldn't be this clean... and the vocals are always pitch perfect like on the album recordings. Also, if you watch really closely, you'll see their mouths often don't sync up with the playback during a lot of their live performances. Momo's growls are also playback so she doesn't damage her voice from growling regularly while touring.

I think we'll see an even cuter MOA in "Onedari Daisakusen". When I was younger, I had the impression that YUI was the most popular among the three because of her outstanding visuals. I think this is evidenced by the fact that many MATE (BABYMETAL fans are called MATE) mention YUI's name in the comment section even after leaving the group. However, as MOA gets older, she becomes more and more beautiful, and SU has also transformed into a wonderful woman worthy of the title of queen. MOMO, the ``Second Smiling Angel,'' was born by following in the footsteps of MOA, which was called the ``Smiling Angel.''

Su for sure has the biggest fan base. You dont get voted best female metal singer and not be the most popular one of your group. But i like to look at them as equals. Theyre in it together forever it seems and if for some reason one of them left i think Babymetal should retire as it wouldnt be the same. We all have our favorites though. My best friend is in love with Momo for instance.

10 Babymetal Budokan is the only time Moa has performed these songs solo, and the only time any of the Black Babymetal songs have been performed since Yui stopped performing with Babymetal in October 2017. None of the Black Babymetal songs have been performed with Momometal and I don't think they ever will be. I think the Black Babymetal songs are retired now and the 10 Babymetal Budokan performances were a farewell to them.

Actually Moa did GJ and Song 4 solo at Legend S because Yui wasn't able to perform. They still used the normal backing track with Yui included (you can even hear the "Yuimetal death" during Babymetal Death with Su lipsyncing that part). In places where there's live vocals only by Yui they are missing, like at the beginning of Meta Taro where the audience stepped in to sing Yui's first lines.
