Our Last Day at the TT, Today no racing so i wanted to show you the most stunning parts i think are on the island. We take you over a quiet mountain road stunning, and drop down to my favourite fishing town Peel. Another nice video. It's nice to see videos of chilled out rides in the countryside away from the TT course. The water wheel you pointed out in Laxey is actually the Snaefell Wheel ( admittedly I had to Google its proper name). The Laxey wheel is considerably bigger and is further up the hillside to your right.

It is a lovely place to be Nick totally agree to really appreciate it you do need to be sensible if your trying to go flat chat you see nothing it really is not worth the risk . I guess this is learned over few years of riding especially when your young ,I guess we've all done stupid things it's just a matter of how lucky you are to get through those times of daft behavior really . I've only done it once but would really like to go back with fresh eyes to experience the place again maybe one day .😊great watch cheers 👍

A great tour but as you came over the tramline you said that the Laxey wheel was in the dip yes it is a water wheel but it is not the Laxey wheel that is over to the right hand side of you as you were going over the tramline Witch this year had scaffolding on it and a tarpaulin

I’ve ridden bikes on the road, for 45 years now; and the biggest threat to my safety, has been other riders, overtaking too close and in an unsafe manner. Riding on the IOM during TT week, would do my head in 🤦🏻

Yes that’s the only downside TT week if you head toward the mountain north island it’s packed. It only take one second if you want to move road position someone will hit you. The south and south west coast is quieter for sure during TT week.

There are historians that tell us the Isle of Mann could very well be the mystic Isle of Avalon and that King Arthur is buried there. Have you any insight into this legend? By the way, I now have a Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro, the decision based partially on your review. I’m up in Idaho where there’s more dirt than pavement so it’s pretty much 50/ 50 riding. Two thumbs up so far. Sorry, I’m infatuated with the Arthurian Legends.

the Island is much more enjoyable without the idiots who think they are in the races, looked after many of them in the A&E and wards in the old Nobles Hospital after they hit the tarmac, some had come over for a few days and ended up here for months, with so many bikes the Island can feel small and not very enjoyable, but getting away from the bike circus as you did is heaven, The MGP in September is a far more relaxed motorcycle meet for best part of 2 weeks, not as near mad as June, as for the TT, Giacomo Agostini riding for MV Agusta was the McGuiness equivalent in the late 60's and early 70's, with the Dunlop's not far away.

Thanks for the tour. It's winter here southern Australia. Drove my daughter into work for an early shift - it was 4 degrees C at the time with a heavy dew. A friend of mine went over there touring the cemeteries looking for ancestors. Great place that doesn't seem to have lost any of its character.

It’s independent so doesn’t connect to anything as it has either 16GB or 8GB internal storage up to 28hrs recording ish. They are the best mics I’ve ever owned, not cheap but brilliant. @@MOTOUK1 That's the one. Thanks a lot. So in video editing time. Do you just use the sound from the mic or a mixture of go pro footage audio together with the voice recorder?

Hi 👋 so in editing I mute the video audio from the camera and use the file from the Instamic instead. To sync I pip my horn quickly 3 times prior to a recording session that way I can see in the timeline and sync both video and audio files in edit

Hi Nick, as someone’s already pointed out, the real Lacey wheel was to the right where you looked left. That was the small wheel. The big wheel is harder to spot from the road. Great video as always.
