Solo Necromancer - Nautiloid & Crypt Raiding - Honour Mode

Necromancer is one favorite class in most games so I've been looking forward to this. I wanted to see if I could hit Level 3 prior to the Grove fight, I failed with 6 xp, but that means it is possible. I could had let Bae'zel live and stomped the tieflings that have captured her. Doing the crypt at level 2 is risky but I figured I could risk it since it's so early in the run. Enjoy!

Note for when you were skipping turns waiting for the fire to die (which was fucking funny), if you hide NPCs usually rush to where you last were in an attempt to find you so that would’ve been a good way to get the archer closer/to run through the fire. Also I enjoyed seeing you have so many summons on the nautiloid, never realized that was possible!

A little tip to collect friends: you cannot send them to camp, buuut if you put them in boxes or bags you can send the bag to camp with the friend inside :) Necromancer to necromancer

I am obsessed with the idea of wizard solo honour mode. I can get lvl 4 with minimum to 0 unnecessary combats, but then I’m starting fights… so never get lvl5 yet)) would be nice to see how you plan your fights

Good luck on this run. I have made all of your builds and watched all the runs so far. Question....of all your builds which is the most viable solo reliably in your opinion. I'm soloing custom difficulty to practice some tactics and learning a lot. Currently doing Warlock version with Astarion the warlock vampire haha

Thank you very much! Makes me happy to hear all of that. I’d say that my Warlock build would be the most viable since I finished with it. But that said (although not proven yet) that the others are good too. Monk a close second I’d say

How are the skeletons not getting any attacks of opportunity against you, especially with how you are moving into and out of their attack range all the time?

They can’t get opportunity attacks with unarmed attacks. You can loot their weapons before starting the encounter

I feel that it's pretty much mandatory tbh, which is a bummer but not much to do about it. Thing I'm still considering is itemization for the run, but once I've decided on that I'll wrap it up into a video :)

@@FriendlyLich one pretty good choice is Ketheric shield if you're half elf /human that's a pretty amazing thing. Start with Safeguard shield for that sweet +1 then at the end of act 2 you gonna get that sweet +1 Save DC +2 AC. I really hate the components besides vocal are not considered because it would make dual wielder hard to use with two staffs. You would need a war caster to do so. Which is still amazing but it's limited to two feats making you plan better on what to give up on. Instead it's just a plus with no drawbacks. Funny enough that feat sucks in dnd 💀 should be a little better

Hm, that's a good option too, could get quite high ac that way. Let's see +3 mage armor, +3 dex, +1 ring, +1 robe, +2 shield. Dual wield will end up with 1 less ac than that, not sure that's worth it in terms of game power. I like war caster in DnD but it's quite a big meh in bg3, might be doable to build around it but I dunno.

@@phdinfootsies2107 I have gotten em from the two cultists and the one where you loot the key to the machine that release Shadowheart. I guess they can drop in the others too but that where I’m 100% sure I have gotten from. Hope that helps!
