Hey andy thanks for the vid. I'm ex military and doing exactly what you do (minus the boats) I'm all about bushwalking and now thanks to you and your videos I've started taking a fishing rod with me and it's surprising what I've been catching, my pb bass is 42cm but I mainly get spangled perch and jungle perch, sometimes the odd black bream but I'm fishing pretty close to home (being Agnes water) so I don't see the variety of species as you do. I love the vids and if ever you stop in Agnes for a fish let me know and we can torment the bush together lol. Keep up the good work look forward to the next one

5 years ago i´d just left the liveaboard diveboat (Spirit of freedom, can really recommend) in Cairns and started the journey south, really remember the heat, loved the ac in the rental car... first night we spent at Paronella park cabins, cool place with the dam and waterfalls, we saw a lot of jungle perch, turtles and eels, and fed them... Really miss QLD is probably what i'm trying to say, especially with -11c in Sweden... When all this covid stuff is over i really want to travel, both for fishing and diving... thanks for all the inspiration Andy!

So glad you didn't label this a survival vid. I near cried seeing those nice fish let go. Then I looked at the title again. Not something anyone wants the world to see if they're eating slightly undersized fish. An overnighter and a survival vid are completely different. Nice catches of those you brought in. Plus, you did have those nice lamb ribs that needed to be eaten... good tucker. Thanks, reminds me of my 'other' home in the far north and will never make it back to.

Don't know if you do either of these down under but two things worth a try would be whacky rigged senko and a texas rigged worm. I'm thinking in that situation they might work well. No that would damage your socks but you can get what’s called gators or socks savers

Solo jungle adventures are amazing, will try that sometime soon. Be careful of wild animals andy, safe fishing🎣👍

There is the old wild dog out there but I don’t worry about them

In terms of the video content your channel should be growing much more faster than it is. Always great content and also video quality has improved a lot. Always loved your video and never missed single episode for last 2 years

Another great video, I don't think it matters that you didn't catch a legal fish, the experience of the adventure was worth it.

If those tarpon keep fouling your plastics, the TT ChinlockZ or SnakelockZ jighead range might help keep them in place. There are a few size and weight choices as well 👍

Yes I have bought them before I just didn’t have any with me
