8-12 ton bottle jack and a square of plywood to use as a base. Also carry a $5 tire plug kit for in field repairs. A cheap air compressor or even a bicycle pump.

Try to keep a piece of plywood big enough for a footprint of a small ( 2 ton or more ) floor jack . A 4” by 4” or 6 by 6 block also will be handy . We’ve used drywall screws to partially seal the hole to hold air somewhat. I need a plug kit . Good knife . I use mine when I’m getting serious. Had that area burned or been logged ? Have a great evening

Most of the area is logged on a rotation.

Slime makes a tire repair kit with an air compressor. Scissor jax are just fine they make a wrench and or a gizmo to make jacking the vehicle up easy. I would suggest to keep a board in the truck in case there are know good rocks or wood to split available. Plus it just makes it more convenient to use.

Since you have a flat. When you get back home put it back on and measure the ground clearance of a flat tire to the jack point. I'm in the same situation. I need a jack for my f250. At the local Lowe's they have bottle neck jacks for about $50 . I also need a deep well metric socket and a long breaker bar. Somebody looted my complete tire kit at the car dealership

Good overnighter Bill! Thinking about Mt. Ranier, I went to the Tacoma mall one afternoon. In the parking lot people were all looking in the same direction and taking photos. I turned to look and the full moon looked like it was sitting on top of Ranier AND with the sun setting, the snow looked like it was glowing, what a beautiful sight!

Redundancy, bottle jack, roller jack and some 2x4 blocks. Would like to hear more specific details about the cold weather liner. A video review would be nice since you have used it and others may be considering it. Glad you you could get away from the grind to relax. Saw your beverage drinking and made me thirsty for one of my own. Great place but I would have preferred a site with some wind blocking capabilities. Would love to see that area without the normal winter gray.

Thanks for making the video. I'm not gonna say I like when 'things happen ' or ole' murphy plays tricks but I always carry everything I need for like flats, getting stuck, dead battery, etc. I gotta say also, man you eat good out camping! Lol, I'm lucky if I can get the mustard in the cold hot dog...lol..and my dog as well, is right there when there's meat in camp. I can't get out in the forest as much as I want because I usually don't wanna come back...lol. Ya, my family's had to come drag me back to civilization. Enjoyed the fire.
